Are there a lot of 355s running around up north? They don't get exported like our cars, do they?

Quite a no, but i don't know the exact figures. There's no COE & parf here but buyers pay as much or more than what we do in Sgp so cars rarely get exported, they just move on to the next owner.

Some may have history & as usual, when a Ferrari gets cheap, you have buyers who cannot afford the "exorbitant" maintenance & cars get poor quality work.

I happened to meet a guy who owned a Dino before. He had it for 14yrs? something like that, restored it & sold for half a million ringgit several years ago. According to him, there were four Dinos in Malaysia but some might import it as "classic status" in recent years.

I just saw a beautiful 70's RR shadow, paintwork & cabin are immaculate but the moment you lift the bonnet, you see a very tired engine bay with electrical wires that are taped up by kids....

This could be one of our "longtime Fchat" car. If it's that one, then at least 4 chatters here owned it before.

I would much favour a berlinetta than GTS simply because of the chassis flex & leaking corners of targas.

    But Derek has more..err..muscle :D

Just picked up July's issue of local EVO. There was a write-up of the Mac's preview here few weeks ago and McLaren's Automotive Director said it is likely only up to 15 models are expected to be available here by end of 2011.

But I guess these figures were before the delay.
