    WOW! Very, very lucky indeed, what's the point of having and barrier if it's going to peel open like that? Man.

    Robert was lucky to get out alive. You can see that the crash barrier didn't deflect the car back into the road as it's supposed to. Instead, it allowed the car to penetrate it and then let the remaining barriers slice through it like a knife.

    Horrible.

    I'll never look at a "safety" barrier the same way after this video. Very scary.

    In Kubica's crash in Italy - the barrier wasn't continuous, there was a small gap between sections of the barrier and Kubica's car hit the gap at the precise angle such that the end of one section of barrier penetrated the front of the car.
