Yes, I bought it ... for $7.99 through Apple's iTunes store. Anyone paying up for the book is being had, in my opinion.

Hello FerrariChat members. The new book about Enzo Ferrari's undercover activities during World War Two is scheduled for release in July 2011 and should be available through all Amazon branches including Amazon. It and also The Book Depository.UK which posts free worldwide. The book's website http://www.ferrarisecretwar.com has more information and some more images available as of yesterday. Thanks.

You should post the offer down in our 308/328 Section there's a thread there always looking for the V8 book, I'll take the other V12 one.

Or i'll buy both from you and sell one V8 book on, as I have it already...

Not to the best of my knowledge. Perhaps someone else knows otherwise? Ironically though, it would still be much cheaper to buy the app and any of the Apple devices...

Can anyone describe this book? The descriptions I've been able to find on the web have been lacking.

    Thanks.

Thank you, Lars. You always come through!

Does the book have any maps or route information that could be used as a guide on a driving trip through Tuscany?

Thanks much. I just bought the one offered on Amazon for the low end of your scale. There is one for sale at a Google listing for $1800 + and I have seen them in the past for over $2K. Just wanted to check with one of may favorate "experts". I know I am missing race results for the period of 1947-1966 which I know this will help me with as well as fill a void in my literature collection for the period. just one man's opinion tongascrew

Hi, You are in for a real treat in Italy.I did five trips in the late 1990s when I had the 328SC in Italy. It's worth spending a bit extra on a nice sporty stick shift car that you can open up on those wonderful country roads. Slow in the towns and then hang 10. Stay away from August. Your best bet now is September and October. Cooler weather, lower prices and fewer tourists of all kinds Get the Michelin Green guide for Italy sightseeing. and the Michelin Red Guide for hotels and restaurents.[Amazon} There are many nice "villa" and agricultural{farm} type properties that will not only save you money but are delightfully "Italian". Just go to the front desk of whatever hotel you are in and they will call ahead and make reservarions for you next stop. Any One Star restaurant will have great food. For snacks and picnic lunches and great cheap Italian wines use the "supermarcito" which are everywhere.I don't know what you sightseeing interests are but the Green guide for a single volume can't be beat. You will probably not want to miss the Ferrari Galleria in Maranello.A fast ride on the autostrada will get you there and back but should probably be your only drive on this. Unless you are prepared to be "at full chat" as the Brits say stay out of the left hand lane and keep an eye on the rear view mirror. Not to put a damper on things but the $ doesn't buy much in Euros these days. Have some cash but major credit cards are accepted,by law' almost everywhere and give you the best exchange. Finally just remember EVERYTHING closes from noon to 3PM. I could go on and on but you willl have a great trip. just one man's opinion tongascrew

    Hi Jack,

Sorry , not Lars but me answering... I'm sure Lars doesn't mind... ;)

The books shows modern cars at "Hotspots" in Tuscany. All these spots are listed in the back of the book complete with coordinates to use by example in your navi. Don't know if it has complete routes listed but with the info given in the book you can sure make your own route.

    Hi Maarten,

No problem! Actually you´re probably better qualified to reply anyway, since I don´t have the book yet, but only browsed through it at Shopping Formula 1 :)

    Ciao,

I think this is the best place to ask as we all love "paper" here...

I'm looking for more info on a (UK?) Ferrari magazine with the title "Red Mist". There should be only one or two issues of it but i can't find any information on this title. Have searched on Ebay but never found it. Please note it is NOT Vintage Ferrari Magazine of which also only two issues are published.

Can someone help me with info or (better... ;) ) locate an issue? Photo of cover would be great also...
