Interior pictures " tomorrow " , as I will be installing the prototype console to see if I like the switch placement and then make one out of CF.

    Enrique, this may help you...

After searching long and hard to find a Challenge Stradale TTF "Style" Font I decide to make my own... Here is my 1st attempt at a Stradale Font.

Its not completed yet but you can still use it even now....
Simply Unzip and install into Windows as a Truetype font. Then you can use it in all your programs!

    Enjoy!

Well .... after three months, attached are the first " decent pictures of the " Black Widow ". I am extremely pleased with the overall results and look of the car.

I am in the process of breaking in the new Kevlar clutch disk, so I have not been able to drive the car hard. Nevertheless, the rolling throttle response is very strong .... and the WOT sound is part Stradale part of a 48 IDA Weber Engine ( for those who have heard it ).

The car is all that I expected and then some , the look seems to appeal to many which have commented at stop lights and gas stations.

A big THANK YOU to Taz ( Terry ) as he has been extremly helpful in advising on a few CEL issues. Most seem to be derived from the fact that the SPider is a Euro Model, thus the ECU is looking for parameters and devices non existent ( Trev was right ).

So far the CEL's do not seem to have compromised performance !

The only problem so far is the loss of signal to one of the exhaust valves which was resolved temporarily by running a new vacuum hose with a " T " fitting from the working valve.

The pictures show my approach to a CS derived console incorporating the needed switches for a 6 Speed Manual. I will most likely swap the START button position with the Mirror Control.

From thought to reality, you truly created a machine that Ferrari should have manufactured. Your vision is an inspiration. Congrats to you and to those that helped you in every detail of the build. A 360 spider and a Challenge Stradale are already "rare" cars to witness in public, yet you raised the bar with your Stradale Spider... Outstanding!

Now enjoy it... with the top down!

Lastly, I can't wait to see your next video showcasing your St/Sp.

Well done Enrique. Your attention to detail is an inspiration to us all.

I wasn't convinced by the wisdom of your quest at first but I've followed it all with great interest and the final result is simply excellent.

    Congratulations on completing your goal.

Thank you Gregg, it has been an enjoyable week putting in some miles to break in the clutch and determine final details.

WIth that in mind, I've just received a Gruppe M airbox, not quite sure if I want to install it now.

Any opinions on Gruppe M users on a Stradale engine ? ( Trev - Taz )

Is there a performance advantage over the Stradale Filter Covers ?

The intake noise is already dramatic with the Spider Air Box , could it be too much with the Gruppe M ?

Enrique, thanks for bringing the "CS-Spider" up to L.A. last weekend. I did not realize it was one of your first drives since you finished the car. The interior looked great as did the exterior with the addition of the CS bumpers, lower side skirts and the wheels.

Question: What does the CS shell look like now that you've stripped it down?

I actually put everything from the Spider on the CS ....reason fro which the conversion took a bit longer.

My goal is to get it running in semi-stradale / challenge mode and possibly turn it into a Track Car.

    Are your wheels on ?

Enrique, the car looks amazing! How fun to see it now finished. I hope we get the chance to see it live one day.

Minus the " good " parts used for my conversion, I installed all of the mechanical components from the Spider on the CS.

Prior to purchasing the CS at auction, it was reported it had suffered major damage " the rear end torn off ", which turned out to be false.

For now it will be in storage, who knows 5 - 10 years from now it won't matter that it has a salvaged title and I will restore it.

Enrique, this is probably a long shot, but ...did the Stradale come with books? Or was that stuff all gone by the time you got it?
