Looking for a detail shop

Everyone I know personally uses Jason. I was extremely happy with both his work and his professionalism. I did the Stage 4 on my car (if you go to Portfolio, then Porsche, my car is on page 21).

+1, Jason is awesome...he does my Ford GT. He is just a bit far if youre in the city but he does pick up cars. Anyone know a good local chicago detailer? i used one place that is considered "high end" and they did a terrible job on my car. They didnt hose it down before washing and my car (a black Panamera) still had dirt all over when they took the mitts to it. The paint was left with streaks all over since the car was quite dirty. I asked DURING the wash about this and they said that "the unique soap and mitt will capture all the dirt" WTF? I'm not going to name names on the forum (PM me if you care) but all i gotta say is if its an exotic or anything very high end, i would use Jason for sure...lesson learned.

 

Guys, Jason sent me a email last week (he does all my cars) that he hurt his back and is no longer working on Daily Drives and just exotics. You may want to call him and see how many cars he is actually doing. Disapointing as he does excellent work and wish him well.

 

ONe other thing that I am trying to see if Todd Cooperider would be willing to come to Chicago area for a week or so and work on cars. You may have seen some of his posts about what he has done with new Ferrari's as they come off the line not looking so good. He is not cheap but if there are several of you out there that would be interested send me a PM and I can contact Todd and he will respond to your questions.

 

You can try calling Ivan. His website is lustrdetail.com and he will come out to your home if you're in the Chicago area. He has detailed both my gallardo and 911 turbo and I was very happy with the result.

 

Ive spoken with a detailer in Ohio Ill see if i can get the info who is very specialized in to one stage paint and does a lot of older and resto ferrari work. They have a truck service to pick up and deliever the car from anywhere. Ill see if i can find it.
After searching it was Todd mentioned earlier. Ive read some wonderful things, and spoke with him several months ago and was going to try to get my car to him this fall/winter.

I've had my Ferrari detailed by the boys at Continental Ferrari in Hinsdale. They did an outstanding job and I would recommend them. In fact, I think I’m about due for my yearly application……

 

Jason is one of the best. Continental does a good job but Jason beats their work hands down and for less $. I hope he makes a quick recovery.
