Thumbs down on: Cutting up a TR3 and Putting a cavallino on the front for no apparent reason. But, he did a good job, it's a cool looking car.
Not ebay but: http://forums.nicoclub.com/ca-5-speed-q45-fs-ft-t535347.html 1995 Q45 converted to a 5speed manual. Think full on era M5 fighter! Car needs a bit of work but the big stuff has been done already. I so wish I had the cash to pick this up ASAP. Only 2 conversions like this have been! Will someone be my 'angel' and purchase this. Drive it and hold it for a few months and I will buy it off you

That's actually not that bad. Sure would be a fun track car! I've seen FAR worse rebodies on 308's. 500+ HP doesn't hurt, either.
I remember seeing that when it was on FJ's website. Liked it then, still do. Can't remember what the ask was at that time.
Nice! I'd get rid of the spoiler and would have to convert back to rollup windows for driving here in TX.

I don't get how people can sometimes end up with cars like this that are decades old but essentially still with delivery miles - or near enough. Are they bought new and then stored in the expectation that they'll be worth more someday as a museum or collector piece than they cost to buy new? All the best, Andrew.
Come on man! It's a CLASSIC. Why, it was Motor Trend's "Car of the Year!" LOL!!!!! What a POS... Gosh that thing with the top up is just ugly! It's good for some museum... that's about it.
I feel embarrassed to say this.......but I would definitely buy that if I had enough. the drop top is still appealing. here's the 7 in drop top form. The TR8 was a bit more scarce, but that 215 c.i. ally ex Buick motor was a sweatheat in that chassis. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Triumph-Convertible-1979-Triumph-TR-7-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3368fece57QQitemZ220804861527QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks#v4-37 JD

bullet casings found under the seats I'm surprised the car was actually registered to the production company; I thought they usually rented/leased from third party companies (?)

It REALLY does need to be seen to be believed. At least someone was following his dream.
