Correct me if I'm wrong please. Didn't a new Enzo cost about $700,000 and used they go for over a million today?

$650,000, give or take, depending the options specced. There were only a hand full of options available. 70 were originally destined for the US market, but there are over 125 cars stateside.

Mike is right on the money. I've seen a lot of window stickers that were $660K.

Is this the one that's in Switzerland, apparently still wrapped up, delivery miles only?

I'd say so! Some people don't get why "collector" cars cost so much, but you always have to remember it's all about supply and demand. What bargaining power does a buyer have, when the seller has the ONLY one available in the color you want? Not much. Either you pay the asking price, or give up on your dream. :)

What was the survivor rate. The cockpit seems to have survived reasonably well. Did all of the above get away with the destruction.

If I recall there were a couple that didn't survive. One may have been due to a heart attack which lead to the crash.

The only crashed Enzo of whose rebuild I'm uncertain is the one piloted down PCH by Stefan "Fat Steffy" Erikkson of Gizmondo fame (the worst-selling handheld console in history). But all of the others have been ...F5ed.

Sorry - it seemed an appropriate tangent.

The one that normv posted resulted in a fatality which was my reason for not including it. Also, the one where it is believed a heart attack led to the crash would be the other one I've heard about, but thankfully there aren't any pics of that one in circulation. I also left out the Richard Losee crash but like Jim's P4/5, I think it is pretty cool what that one has been transformed into.

Yeah, I'm just busting your chops.

Actually, the creator of the first car in your list of images is now dead, most likely because of the redirected finances for that very creation.

I have a picture of it; it's not pretty.

I'm gonna start a "Save the Enzos" club or something. I mean, I'm all for the "drive your Ferrari hard because that's what it was made for" ethos, but this is just depressing.

Actually, it's an Enzo that's been heavily modified to look like an FXX. And while it has twin turbos, an FXX is naturally aspirated..

I see. I thought it was the well known yellow Edo FXX. The title of the video is deceptive I am afraid. I am sorry for the confusion.

PS: It doesn't really sound turbocharged though...
