Why would you do that?
I cannot understand why somebody would do that to their Countach, but at least it does appear to be a wrap and not actual paint. Take a look at the wheel flairs, as the wrap does not allow the black seams to show through.
Wouldn't a paint job that looks like a wrap be awsome Air conditioning dosent seem to work, or maybe the door dampers stuffed with too much gas
this is a euro DD . what up with the rear US style "valance" ? the sound is not that of a normal DD. The motor has been "touched". the paint is the paint. here there are lambo with the US flag paint. same thing.
Just saw a really nice Countach on the road here in the UK. It was a 5000 I think- side strakes like the anniversary but standard front and standard "full size" rear lights. It was a lovely deep purple/blue colour, almost black. No rear spoiler. Reg was "A6 WOW" which comes up as a 1987 car on regcheck.com. Anyone know it? The reg rings a bell from this thread but I can't find anything on search...

Steve: The "A-Reg" plate being used on the car is a cherished number from 1984 indeed, but is has been placed on the ex-Steve Downs 1987 (1988 1/2) QV. This car is finished in Blu Acapulco and in recent times has sported Annivesario wheels. You can see a nice feature of it in Performance Car's February 1988 issue where Brian Laban puts it through its paces. At that point as a new car it had UK-registration E 401 LYH. See below. Thanks Joe - I searched "performance car" as well as I remember that magazine when it came out and thought it might be the same car. I'd just got a nail in the tyre of my crappy Estate car and was sitting at a junction cursing and it drove by, I thought I was seeing things!

Adjustable dampers for an LP400? They look curiously like a set that might be fitted to, say, chassis number 1120194? Very nice!
