    Nice!!

I'm not usually a huge fan of Aston Martin, but I do admit to a soft spot for the V12 Vantage.

    Hope you enjoy it. :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

+1! I'm not a fan of the hood vents but in that color they blend in nicely.

Second on my list after a FCar, probably an AM. Then I can be a double naught, err nut spy..."The name is Nut, 4re Nut; my alias is Nut, AM Nut." :D

For those that don't get the "double naught spy" reference: http://www.tv.com/the-beverly-hillbillies/double-naught-jethro/episode/49412/summary.html

Like you I'm not a huge fan ot the hood, but with this color it is ok ;-)
I first bought a Ferrari F355, which I'm modifying to Challenge specs and even better. So now I have a Fcar for tack and an AM for the weekend ;-)
And yes it is two different worlds, but I like both!

Are the vents in the hood purely a style thing or do they have a technical function? :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Space is very tight and the vents help with heat extraction.

That's exactly what I see when I stop: you can see the heat coming out from the vents.
When you compare the size of the V8 with the V12, it is like a sort of wizardly trick from Aston Martin how they managed to put this beast inside! These vents are more than necessarily!!

When I'm a double nut spy I'm going to tell passengers that it's my force field. :D

Welcome to the club. After owning a V-8 Vantage, several 911s and 2 F430s I can say my V-12 Vantage is the finest automobile I have ever owned.
