DING DING we have a winner! Yep, going on the 1975 LP400 today..all back to the way she was born...the funny part is this may be the first car I own that I wont drive cause it will be to nice.. NAW I didnt just say tha did I...? LOL
Roy is Roy..I say he'll drive it, ...little bit anyhow. For a guy who drives a Murci with snow tires as his winter 4x4, lol, how can he resist not to stretch the legs on his Countach once in a while.
Funny you say that...that's exactly what Steve wants me to do..trailer it the 35 miles from his shop to Monterey...but I think it needs a shake down run...those 35 miles..let's see if we can do it in 20 minutes!
Interesting video of a member's nice LP500S. Enjoy. The car appears to be metallic black? Mods would appear to me to be spacers fitted for all 4 wheels and an aftermarket exhaust system (but it sounds good). [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUkFuBeIJws&feature=related[/ame]
Yep, this is Finland's only an orginal Countach. 1982 LP5000S. http://kuvablogi.com/blog/1949/37/ The owner has been registered on this forum, hopelly we could comment something!
you mean Mikael? he's on L-Talk and posted his restauration history there. Weekend-Mechanic in the countach section.
Can anyone decode what's going on here? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/lamborghini-Countach-/200626840942?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2eb64aa56e Is it a QV made to look like an Anni? Or is it an anni with the wrong year listed? I got a friend in town who is interested in a Countach, and this one is near LA. I'm assuming from the description it's a QV made to look like an anni, but I can't imagine that anyone would go through all that trouble, even doing the rear bumper like that.
I like it! Another angle; source: http://www.sportscardigest.com/wp-content/gallery/goodwood-festival-of-speed-2011-concours/d3s_8841.jpg Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeh. thas mine. Originally black, repainted 1990 to some funky metal flake... It had 30mm spacers under each wheel, I took them out allready. Exhaust I made my self; http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u84/unknow82/Ct/Copyofct005.jpg
Any more recording of the exhaust by itself? Sounds real nice. What did you use? Paint looks brown, looks blue, looks black......depending on the shot.
The details are posted in the auction. From auction: The car has 25th anniversary spoilers, includes air vents/scoops, the rear bumper instead of the usual individual blocks which i have all original. The covers for the turn signals are dark; i do have original.
Here is one: http://youtu.be/q0zeNexSSAY I really like when you can see diffrential behind the car, it gives nice touch for some universal exhaust pipes what I welded together. All four headers got individual exhaust pipe, like original sport exhaust, but more straigth. (couple bends out and you could see exhaust valve ) Old Lamborghini V12 is suprisingly quiet with this setup. It does not have irritating sound, only good, round and soft note. I have consider of making one with standard casing that would look like original.
