I thought you might have seen the car that day. It's amazing how those pipes don't melt that spare tyre. The pipes are made from much thicker material at the ends than the original. Refer to 'The Lamborghini Miura Bible' page 90. I wonder if this is to make the car somewhat quieter and road legal or 'less illegal' noise wise? Oh, I can see now, they are probably baffles on the end of the pipes.

Page 90 is not the correct page above. Page 54 is the correct page. Sorry for my mistake.

Some more brief footage of 3033 1OTA and a glimpse of another Miura. Is that the 400GT Monza too?

SV (Museum car???) with Pirelli Scorpion Zeros on the back and Pirelli P400 (apt name but an incorrect tyre for a Miura) tyres at the front.

Some truly fabulous pics posted by Helio in this very thread of 3033 1OTA from page 65 on. There are more pics there too by Helio. I notice the window surround is now chrome. What a fantastic looking machine superbly photographed. I hope Helio, Joe and Piet Pulford don't mind me reposting them here.

Not to mention the Miura S front passenger side wheel! It sounds terribly out-of-tune!

Yes that's the ex-Walter Wolf 5092, the Museo car.

Pity that clip is so short, what an absolutely wonderful sound. Yes, that's the Monza in the background, which also turned up at Gaydon one year.

Yes, I noticed the engine sounding like it's not firing on all cylinders. There are some other vids of the car at the same event with it sounding rough too. You'd have thought there wouldn't be anyone better than the factory to keep it fine fettle and with the correct wheels and tyres on it. I guess they are pretty hard to come by now.

Yes, it is a pity the vid is so short. I'd like to see and hear the car in full flight with the loud pedal pushed right in rather than just being manoeuvred to park it. I don't think the Miura's sound is very nice at low revs anyway. When the engine is under load and at high revs it makes beautiful music of course.

Barnaby says 134 SV's built and we know this to be incorrect but he also says that there are 134 SV's left and was just wondering if anyone knows if this is true? Nice to see c/n 5000 here and hear the story of it being bought by its second owner in 1975 and driven 700 miles home where it sat in his collection until recently.

5000 may have been driven to other places since 1975. I thought 5000 was sold to a new owner, since 2007, who had it shopped to remove all traces of patina.
Why does the ID plate look so nice and the chassis finish look so rough?

Miura SV 5000 was personally inspected myself personal times. I was a car that just coming out long term (1975-2005 Kansas-based ownership) as titled by the Coca Cola Bottling Company - a document I was privy to examine myself.

The ID plate looks normal to me' completed with copper rivets, and is likely a surviving example. Rough finishes on in the form of chassis texture is normal.

This painter unforgettably did a little paint to the front hood but the rest of the car remained original. It went to a car collector in the far East.

My mistake as it wasn't in the second owner's collection until recently as the video was uploaded onto youtube in 2006 and Barnaby says in it then (or when the video was recorded) that it's been passed on to a new owner. It's not a criticism but the finish on the Miura chassis looked a bit crude from new. Joe may know where the car is now?
