Nearing crap my pants when I saw this searching 355 vids on youtube [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxtmwOQ9XJE[/ame]
"new leather seats" and "new gauge cluster" after only 23k miles? Something is wrong with this car, that's for sure.
Bargain! A local Chevy dealer doesn't really know what to charge apparently. "new instrument cluster" menas the carbon fiber trim around the console. "New leather seats" is incorrect. The look like new, but appear original to me. I'd check it out if F1 is for you, that is the only thing about it I don't like. At least it isn't a Craigslist ad with a gmail address... BT
Something is a miss with this dealer. If look at their inventory everything is super cheap. They have an 04 masserati for 18.5k, a lot of the process are not even wholesale prices. Maybe branded title? Or an elaborate scam.
Well one of the numbers is for Chicago(314) and another is a Texas area code(512) and Sullivan ul is an hr away from Springfield Il and should have a (217) area code. It's about 3hrs from me. If they were open on a weekend is go check it out but their hrs are only 8-5 monday thru Friday and that in itself is weird for a dealership if you ask me. The ones around here are open til 8pm and all day ssturday, how else is a working person supposed to buy a car if you are only open when people are at work.
Also for sale in texas- http://www.ritedrive.com/Inventory/Inventory-Dealer/Vehicle-Details/Page/0/Car/62802/Dealer/226-Crave-Luxury-Automotive/Drive/1999-Ferrari-.aspx But you have to be a member to contact them.... SCAM.
Yeah, something fishy. They have lots of cars at very cheap prices. Maybe a scam of some sort, but the carfax checks out OK on that 355. Very strange.
Strange. Sullivan IL has a population of 4,300. Google maps hasn't found it necessary to drive by there yet. The address sure looks residential from the sky.
hmmmmmm...... they have an on-line credit app, where they ask for your social. I'll bet they're hoping people will get all excited about the prices and apply for credit on line. Then they sell identity theft kits to others. I would guess that no one is at that address or phone number.
The seller has agreed to accept a portion of the inheritance I am to receive from my long-lost uncle who worked for an oil company in Nigeria. He was unfortunately killed in an auto accident. I had my Nigerian barrister contact the seller to work out the agreement. I only had to pay my barrister a $5000 cash advance. Fortunately I was able to have my local representative take him a cashier's check for slightly more than that amount, and therefore the barrister paid my representative for his delivery fee. I should have my 355 soon!!!!
Nobody answers the phone (312 number) when I called. No voicemail - nothing. The car appears in the 355 registry but with no information or photos. The credit app appears to be SSL-encrypted yet there is no mention of it being driven by Verisign or any known secure layer so that is suspect. IF the car actually exists for sale and IF this is not just a scam to get people to enter the SSNs in a non-secure format then I would suspect some moron left it out in the rain with the top down and that is why the seats, dash, seatbelts etc. needed to be replaced and god knows what other mildew/damage issues reside in a car that might have been filled with water. I also agree the hours of operation are very odd and I have never called a reputable car dealer who did not at least answer the phone or have voicemail. Very odd....
