Congrats, Jon! Such a thing of beauty! I am quite surprised that it can get in and out of basement carparks without any scrapes! Btw, which red Diablo? The 666? Think he's rotating between the 430 spider and El' Diablo
Black-roofed Italias are incredible to look at. Stands out SO much more! There's an Italia in KL with a semi-matte roof, but there's a story behind how it got done that way
Jon, that mutha is utterly gorgeous! Who cares how it drives?!!?? With the way that thing looks I only need to sit and look at it!!! And yes, if you change a single thing on it prepare for a jihad on your ass!!!!
Hey I'm stretching the G's legs to KL this weekend Jon.... follow me up in the Diablo! Im going Friday lunch with Phil, Fong, and Ron.
Congrat Jons!!! Very impressive piece of machinery............doesnt even look its age and still look very modern to me.
this raging bull is incredible ... just look at its' accelaration ... damn !!! 1000 hp 996tt vs. 1500rwhp gallardo ... http://www.dpccars.com/car-videos-11/07-13-11page-Underground-Racing-Gallardo-vs-1000HP-Porsche-911-Turbo.htm
Just proves that however much u might wanna get a horsie, the darkside always has ways to lure you back onto it's path
hey hey hey! This is very tempting & I have fresh tyres fitted I'm supposed to fly there on Fri for a Sat concert. Don't tell me you miss your leggy one so soon? I feel so guilty, in 24hrs, I clocked almost 100km, 10% of what it did in the past 11years
Possible. Wonder if i'll kerb the bugger & she looks like a virgin FT the windscreen & headlamps are all perfect.....was washing the car earlier & realised it is actually quite petite. Seems smaller than even the Testarossa & definitely smaller the Murcielago. Hmm & is it the Aussie who invented the micro bikini? Err, actually I just felt the front lip rubbing the ramp when it goes down but ahhh, just a rub so I'll have to go slow. Yes, I think it's 666 & always driven fast! Thanks mate. I'm getting to know her better, with the RWD it feels lighter than the Murcie but I wish the steering feel can be improved. It's not very fast like modern cars though it does hit 100 pretty quick & loves to be driven fast rather than around city. Only thing, it's 5 speed where the usual 1st is reverse Front 180degree view is surprisingly panoramic, far better than modern cars while the mirrors cover pretty well. I simply love the roof profile with the two airscoops & vents, very sexy stuff while the wedge shape is so menacing when you take a front view from far. Thanks man. It needs to be driven & people have forgotten how old Lambos are like.
Any of you guys going for the Lambo/Lotus trackday at Sepang on the 29th? And on the 30th, there is a Lotus Autocross for a little over a grand and they will rent you an Elise, teach ya how to drive it around a bend, drift, handbrake etc..... I should be going.
jon this was the dream car for a lot of us ... and melvin took over the lambo agency in 2001. what kind of depreciation it will carry ?
