The C pillars magically disappeared. It's a fake for sure but I think the real one will have more drama.
I guess you haven't been reading this thread. Several have confirmed from eye witnesses in the past week that's it is a hard top convertible.
It is speculation so far. I still prefer a rag top. Will check with my dealer next week if he can confirm. What is your preference?
It's confirmed by several eye witnesses at the factory this past week. Retracting hardtop something like the CA. No glass in the rear to see the engine. 14 seconds to retract. No pricing yet. First viewing in Sept at Frankfurt show. My preference: I don't care. But, I don't like that Rag tops are so expensive to replace and do wear out over time.
Dealer tells me that it is a hard top convertible to be shown in september and deliveries will start say January.
If it's a hard top convertible, it will kill the coupe. What's the price difference of coupe and spyder in USA? Even in the northeast states like New York, customers may opt for the sypder as they can enjoy it during summer. Only customers who don't want to compromise performance of a spyder will buy the coupe.
I'm on the list and expecting my dealers second customer car. From the indications I've been given the spider will be priced around 15% above the coupe. Going by the descriptions of the design this looks to be the closest photoshop but the actual car possibly doesn't have the fixed roll hoops. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's not. That was one of a photo set used by CAR magazine when they did their first big spread on the 458. It's just been doctored up.
Not necessarily...take the 355 for example. I'd take a coupe over the spider any day, and looking at listings there are 25 spiders for sale for every one coupe. Granted, this is a hardtop but the coupe will always have superior handling.
Not to mention cheaper and with less to go wrong. Depending on the climate, I can see a lot of people liking the coupe better even if it just looks better.
My dealer has confirmed that the spyder has a hard top. Pictures of the car will be available 23 August.

BUT: if it does you can cancel the purchase if you wish "i mean if you are too poor to buy it after waiting all your life sir ! SHE WILL BE MINE... YES ..
