360 Idle speed, whats normal?

    Hi,

    Just got my "new to me" Rosso corsa / black 2001 Spider last monday.
    Awesome toy indeed!

    It just seems to me that the idle it a tad high (when warm) at around 1050-1100rpm. Maybe this is because I am coming from Porsche.

    Is this normal?

    I tried to browse thru the manuals that came with the car, but could not find the specifics on this.

    i think mine idles around 1k even.

    Gotta remember we have a lot of rpms to work with on these cars. at least 1500k more than normal cars.

    Reminds me, I have the 360 Spider manuals from another FChatter I need to send to Ben Deetman so he can include them on the site.

    2001 360 F1, at initial startup it goes to 1300is, after 2-3 seconds to 1000.

    Mine settles at 800-900 rpm after a few seconds.

    my euro spec stay between 1000-1100rpm

    And according to replys and advice from you guys the idle on mine seems about normal.
    Last night, when warm, it stayed at about 1000rpm.
