White wheels are awful on anything - other than that I like it. The red/gray are Porsche Motorsport colors and look rather understated compared to the horrible checkerboard & gigantic "GT3 RS" decals on the 3.8. Its certainly less tacky than the 360 CS & Scud stripes. Regardless, I'd have one in my garage even if it were painted pink with little bunny rabbit decals on the doors.
Most of the stripes are vinyl, so, yeah, you could ditch them. Exclusive will do whatever you want--for a price. (I could tell you about some of the customer cars I saw last week, but Porsche would have me killed. "No photographs, bitte!") You'll see the same 4.0 in Evo and on the cover of Excellence with silver wheels. They done gone and switched 'em on me!
I was at the Porsche "driving experience" at Fontana; they had a slideshow presentation of the Exclusive program. let's just say some cars end up with virtually no resale value
I'll tell you about these cars the next time I see you, which may be soon. Noticeably faster, much sharper throttle response, throatier exhaust, louder. As a driver you feel more attuned to the mechanical nature of the car. This is the only RS I've driven at 300+, so I don't have anything to compare, but I can say it is planted at that speed.
