Never seen a Miura with 9" wheels at the front before. The tyres on the front look narrower than the 255 section and higher profile than the 60 of the HS CN 12 which I'm sure wouldn't work on the front.
This car's been modded a lot. Jota like lights and no fins on the doors. Black windscreen surrounds too.
http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106152&highlight=miura+40th There are some pics of the car (4806) in the above thread on page 1 along with some other great pics of other Miuras including the yellow car above which is said to be c/n 4856.
4856 is an intriguing car that started life as a US P400 with c/n 3745 according to JS and is down in the register as being delivered to Modena Car USA on 22.3.73 having gone back to the factory for SV mods? but as we know it doesn't have all the SV mods as it has a non SV rear clam. So is it half an SV? I wonder exactly what SV mods it has and if the factory put the SV badge on it? The more I learn about Miuras, the more I realise I don't know.
Hello Joe, Where does this picture come from? It reminds me of an old issue of "Automobiles Classiques", that I had when I was a teenager but I am not sure. Thanks in advance for the answer!

Yes, the doors have the fins/slats whereas 4806 doesn't, no knock off spinners and a different colour of course. It has the same wide wheels on the front, bonnet vents and Jota like lights. Are these two cars connected somehow?
#4458 lived in Florida in the Mid 1990s. It was in very poor condition at the time and could have been purchased for $50-60k. At one point it ran through a Kruse auction at the West Palm Beach Kravitz Center.
I found this (old?) pic of #4934 on the web, cant remember ive seen it here before. Image Unavailable, Please Login
In the 90th we had an car in Sweden that was modified almost in the same way, i also remember black windscreen surrounds was applyed on Islero #6555 when it was under renovation in the early 80th. Look what they are doing to the Murcielagos now days
