    The Exclusive Old Stone Boys Club (OSBC) in the Hamptons in conjunction with Maserati of Long Island invite you for Cars and Coffee every Sunday morning from 9-11am. Bring your sports, classic, performance or Competition Cars and meet some of the club members (the who’s who of the East End racing community) who have been doing this since 1962.     Is this the same group that used to meet up at Marty's on Old Stone Highway in East Hampton?

    We are staying with friends in EH this weekend and I happened to mention that I was planning on stopping by Marty's tomorrow morning to see who showed up and see what interesting cars would be there. She told me that the woman owner of Marty's has basically chased all the car guys away because she felt that they were taking up too many parking spaces for too long in the morning and other customers were complaining.

    It's a shame because that was a tradition that went back many, many years.

    If it is the same group, glad that you have a new place to gather, even if it is a lot farther from where I am staying in Barnes Landing!

    Had a good time this morning... In addition to cars & coffee, there was a great art installation in the showroom -- something for the womens to do while we stood around and talked cars. :)

    Oh, and thanks to Goldberg's Bagels in Southampton for the great spread!

    Now if we can get the damn A/C to work!

    OSBC is a great group of enthusiasts. I consider myself lucky... I have a summer home in Southampton which is down the road from the OSBC cluhouse.

    Last year we welcomed Rob Schmitter & OSBC at the Gold Coast Concours. Rob made the trip with the Martini Racing Porsche. I hope to see you Boys at this years event, 3rd annual Gold Coast Concours.
