That looks great. You are restoring yourself into a delima that may be at odds with your signature line. Do I drive it, or preserve it for future humanity?
Knowing Roy's past history, look for a picture of it wearing snow tires and a layer of road grime sometime around Christmas...
And in today goes the ENTIRE new re-produced with the correct texture and stampings, heater and A/C lines, the entire length of the car, with exact hose fittings..ALL from Italy! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Roy: please have Steve continue to supply pics if that's possible so we can see this epic restoration come to a close.
I know he is down to the last like 3% or so of the project, but you know Steve, "Mr Secret" Hell I am lucky to even get these for myself... As of yesterday, he was all excitied about sourching some exact period correct battery with the exact date correct stickers LOL CRAP he is making this car into a Museum piece..but, my instructions, almost 5 years ago, whyere, dont care about the cost, the time, just better never have a single minus point when it goes in to get Judged at some of the shows I want to take it to. Was planning on driving it into all these shows...but now..if I did I would probably get shot by some collector or the ghost of Mr "L" will come get me........
Roy....cannot wait to see it in Monterey this year. Are you still caravaning out of Gilroy this year?

Steve Lefferts' old car again. I know it has had a few owners since, but based on the mileage, he was the last owner to really drive it hard and a lot, so I still think of it as his. It really is a great driver, with only cosmetic issues, so I hope new owner drives it a lot. This car can also be a market barometer for DDs in the states when it sells, unless it goes to Europe....
Yes....but I thought someone recently bought it from a North Carolina dealer less than 3-4 months ago....must not have been the car for them. Brian
Well, I must say...when I owned this car it was ONE HELL of a car, probably should have never sold it. BUT, the ad is in-correct, the entire front clip was re-papainted after a little road side drainage ditch encounter, I also have the orginal wing that I took off of the car when I had it, so the back deck lid was re-sprayed as well..but ONE hell of a fast car!!
Correct, a collector in Virginia, bought some new tires and a tool kit for it from me after he got it from the Dealer in NC...told he traded it for an older Lambo, S-2 car..??
