How many 599 GTO's in Melbourne now?

Apparently another 3! GTO's have been ordered into Melbourne, with one being sent currently, i cannot confirm color, but does anyone know the were abouts of the only GTO is in melbourne? and how many others are in Aus?

I know of 3 in Melbourne. From memory there will be 5 for Melbourne in total once the run is finished.

 

i only know of 2 apparently there is the Scuderia Rosso and the Nero, i don't know of the other one's color!

 

Resale red I believe.
I think the one you pictured is owned by the original owner of my Scuderia.

Yes the Scuderia is a pretty insane road weapon. Only "problem" is you have to be pushing at completely mental speeds for it to be entertaining.

 

Sold the F50 about 18 months ago. All I did was look at it in the garage and after 5 years and 2500kms I walked out one day, thought this is nuts and sold it.

 

You should buy a good 308

i have a strong belief now that the GTO-09 GTO is in Rubino Micaliazzato

 

I think you'll find that it's actually Rosso Corsa, or as others may put it, "resale red"

yeah i went to Zagamé's yesterday, missed the queensland plated Nero GTO, but yes he said it was Rossa Corsa, also the owner of the GTO just came in the morning and bought a white QuattroPorte GTS and got them to change the wheels to the MC Stradale's! saw the rear wheels on in the repair area, looked so good!

How does it compare to the F50 in terms of performance?

 

Pretty much kills it in every department except (perhaps) straight line dash , which is no great surprise.
F50 was very early 90's technology with nothing but engine management controlled by computer. Scuderia has almost identical power/weight and computer controlled everything.
Totally different driving experience and feel going about the business as a result.

 

Hang on a minunte Scottski, what about the sound. Can't beat that V12 sound, it's still clear in my head from Winton. Unless of course you've put the new exhaust on the Scud???

 

You should hear one with the full tubi exhaust. I heard TR's from a kilometer away once. Couldn't believe it.

 

I heard you a kilometer away yesterday and at first thought WTF has he put on his 308.

BTW, thanks for sending my wife home today with enough shopping to last us 12 months.

 

Hands down win to the F50. The Scud would lose out to a Prius.
The last bits to the project arrived today. Will do the exhaust and everything else soon.
