    Ok to you fellow enthusiasts Ferrari has officially returned to Grand AM with a Ferrari backed team.

    Testing begins at Daytona Tomorrow and Wednesday with Ferrari drivers Melo and Vilander alternating behind the wheel. of course the entire Ferrari of Fort Lauderale Race Team will be there for support with Ronnie Vogel as Team Manager.

    If any of you are near Daytona, I urge you to come stop by.

    This week is shakedown. WE are deciding if we will be ready for a few of the remaining races. BUt in the mean time I will get you a 2012 schedule as soon as i can.

    Good luck wiht your event. it is a little far from my travel circle otherwise i would have stopped by. BUt please tell everyone hi and I am sure it will be a great event.

    How is that little pink race car by the way. dont worry i will tell everyone on heret that it is your daughters car. I am sure they will believe me.

    Mark Raffauf told us about the program during the first Ferrari Challenge race earlier this year at Infineon.

    I hope the testing goes well. Hopefully some of the Scuderia Space Coast guys will make it up Tues or Wed.

    This photo of my wife at Sebring during Easter is the last I saw the Lotus(not totally pink).
    Carlos has been so busy with your shop(good for him-bad for me) that he has not had time to get it to the mountains. We are trying for this week - he has it completely raced it out - can't wait - it keeps my wife and daughter out of the Scud

    The car seems to that used by Risi Competizione 458 GT2.The car is managed directly by Fort Lauderdale Team or Risi Also, has something to do ¿¿??

    On Ferrari Finali Mondiali 2010 in Valencia, I Had the pleasure of talking with Mr Giuseppe Risi. A fantastic person. Very nice and close.

    He told to me many things about race experiencies such as Sebring and Le Mans. details that other people in the race world not talk to yoy. A simply race and Ferrari fan.

    The Grand Am and The ALMS 458's are totally different cars built to totally different rules.

    Yes. I know Mr Glickenhaus. What I wanted to say is if the same team Fort Lauderdale - Risi Competizione.

    On Risi Competizione 458 GT2 I ´ve seen advertising of Fort Lauderdale. (language barrier sometimes :)

    Risi Competizione is based in Houston TX at Ferrari of Houston.

    Ft. Lauderdale is a completely seperate team at a different dealership. Hope that clears it up!

    Perhaps I can help. At Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale we live and breathe racing and Ferrari Cavallinos actually flow in our blood stream. So, basically Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale supports and sponsors Risi Competizione and we also have embraced Ferrari's return to Grand Am with the new car above.

    Additionally, we run 9 Challenge Race Teams and support about a dozen or more gentleman racers for weekend track support.

    If it involves Ferrari or Racing (and preferably both) we will support it.
