Anyone notice this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290589620289&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT Owner maintains that its definitely a Twin Turbo but there's no details of the twin turbo conversion and no photos. Seems to be very cheap for an 85!!
Peter, there is a Ferrari market Watch Thread where pointless cars like this are posted, so that people who live a thousand miles away can post meaningless opinions (based on looking at photos and zero ownership or motor sales industry knowledge) and boost their thread count. No need to start a new thread about it. Leave that to Bertie please.
What the hell are you on about? How is this a pointless car? Its seems to be a genuine sale of a 308 in Australia and currently selling at a very good price. I am not allowed to post a thread asking anyone if they know anything about it or making others aware of it? Last I looked this was a Ferrari Forum and specifically the Australian section so why can't I post a thread?
Because you're about 2 days late, the auction details were already posted in the "Ferrari market watch thread" by Pap here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140693546&postcount=10212 so absolutley no need to start a new thread about this car, Ian's comments are spot on. M
poyta: Don't worry about IanB he just has a colourful way of saying "its a repost" and you should search before posting. OHOS syndrome. PAP posted about it last sunday here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140685924&postcount=10207 Ossie actually put the effort of emailing the seller http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140695815&postcount=10215 The car is interesting enough (assuming it is TT) to warrant it's own thread but we need more info
Great, thanks for the link, that's all that was needed to be said. I can't be expected to know ever post on this forum so apologies if my thread post inconvenienced anyone.
Agreed which is why I posted the thread. I also contacted the seller, he's apparently going to be emailing some photos of the engine bay.
I have ONE of them .... about to go up on the hoist for 3-6 months getting lots of stuff done Time to get my finger out and start fixing a lot of fiddly things that have been driving me mad ... starting with the regulator, springs, undertray, etc etc etc etc etc
Good man! You can make it perfect for the cafe strip! ( like i just did with mine.) anyway...I'm off to chapel st.
did you get any significant chips in your windscreen ? Mine survived quite well but as we all know the front lenses for the parking and indicator lights were smashed
My car appears to have suffered no damage at all, but like I said, I haven't looked underneath. The vinyl wrap is bloody brilliant.....plus, I was too slow to get behind anyone
poyta: Did you get any pics about the Turbo conversion? Sold! for $39k Image Unavailable, Please Login
I did get some photos but they weren't worth posting - one was a close up of the turbo but its was so blurry I couldn't see anything and one was of the engine bay but it was so blurry you couldn't see a damn thing. I think the owner had no idea.
Looks like it was a no sale. It's listed on carpoint now for $60K. http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?Cr=3&R=11092162&keywords=&trecs=14&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_Price_Decimal|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&__sid=131A98F1E698&__Nne=15&__Qpb=1&seot=1&__N=834 1216 1246 1247 1252 1282 4294956748 4294966380&silo=1011
