    I did some work on the AC and had to remove the black insulation around the evaporator valve in he boot. Without it moisture condenses and fills the area. Does anyone know what the original replace insulation is and where I can get it?

    It's just some thick black sticky/rubbery tape, pretty much. It helps seal a/c connections/fittings. :)

    Your local auto-elec should have some Jim. Just tell them what it is and where it came from and they should help you out. If you have trouble, let me know and I will post some out to you. :)

    **** man, can I have the remaining 29.95 feet of that roll you bought? :D:D

    Looks like the stuff. I am pretty sure the world over, for the last 30 yrs that tape is pretty much the same stuff used on ALL cars. :)

    Not a bad idea. It is 100 F here today. Maybe it will stay cool!
