I have a 1995 355 GTB Red on Black, full engine out service, new tires, Capristo exhaust with Bypass valve. Car is in Canada. Under 11000 original miles. Jeff 403-272-8348 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am spreading the word in the Colorado area - if any serious contacts come through that are interested I will PM you details. AceMaster is correct - very low price but have also been in a position where I needed to move something fast. Hopefully you will be "Ferrari-less" for a very short time and I would suggest tracking the VIN in the registry in case you have an opportunity to reclaim at a later time. Cheers and good luck
Car is in Canada. Gary Bobileff did the engine out in late 09 early 10. We couldn't bring the car here until March of last year with the 15 year rule. Gary did everything that was needed including the exhaust and bypass valve, new rubber. Mechanically it is perfect. Asking 72500 Canadian.
I believe they were not needed or had been done previously. Would have to check. Gary was given a no holds barred approach including water pump. Car is exceptional.

Were pics before or after the service? Car needs the power steering reservoir replaced and appears the fuel block divider recall has not been done. Not sure how you would get car into Canada with an open recall item so I'm gonna guess the pics are "pre-major". GLWS. PS. I'm referring to your original engine bay pic in your first post.
I must admit, I am not sure about that particular picture as I can't see enough to decipher. This car, I brought in for a client and oversaw the service with Gary at Bobileff Motorcar. Yes you are correct, the car could not get into Canada with that recall, it was done.
Located south of Denver in Castle rock. About 20 miles south. I've owned the car since 2009. This very special F-355 separates itself from the sea of red and yellow Ferraris out there as it is finished in rare Argento Nurburgring over black. It has been pampered and tastefully upgraded with great looking set of 19" wheels and a McIntosh amp, CD head unit, and McIntosh 6 disc changer. Custom sub enclosure behind seats. It also has a stainless Tubi exhaust system. This car was sold new in Los Angeles before going to the Seattle area where it was owned by a Rolex Grand Am series race driver. Included with this Ferrari are both original tool kits, the factory tire compressor, the full handbook set in the original leather portfolio, a spotless CarFax history report, and service receipts that include the 30,000 mile service completed in December of '07 at a cost of almost $11,000. Minimal miles since service. $79,000 I know this is my first post and all, but this car has been well cared for and maintained. True. I believe this is the car that was sold by Park Place Ltd (seattle) at an "auction" in Scottsdale after sitting in there showroom for well over a year (saw it many times in person). Great example of the F355, but.... what DonJuan said.
the major was done 4 years ago and very little miles put on it since then( bad thing) so it needs a major immediately . Off color doesn't help either ... and 30k put this price way high ..
So could you buy this car in Canada and bring it back to the USA and have it properly registered? Would Ferrari consider this a "grey market" car because it's been exported?
This would not be a "grey market" car since it originates in the USA. You would just have to check to see what duties or fees may apply to import back into the USA. When I bought my US Ferrari's and brought them into Canada, I had to pay 6.1% Duty, 5% GST (General Sales Tax) and customs brokerage and Registrar of Imported Vehicle fees of about $500.00. These were for cars that were less than 15 years old. I also had to factor in the dollar exchange rate premium for 2 of my 3 cars I bought. In Canada, cars that are over 15 years old are easier and less costly to import. I am sure that there is someone who can give you all the fees to bring it back into the USA. I am thinking that it may not cost you too much for import fees, but the dollar exchange will now cost you more since our dollar is worth more as of late. Good luck in buying this car or any other 355 that you are looking for.
i know i'm going to take a bath on it.......just have to decide how big of one to take!!!!!! yeah i get it.
