Does anyone know of a source for the dryer shown in the drawing attached below?
It is in my '84 400i equiped with dual air. McCann, Euro Spares and Rutland do not have it.

Greg, I took mine to NAPA and they looked thru the parts book and found a match. I is common to a Saab - Idon't remember which. Cost me about $120.00 5 years ago. It is shorter tan mos receiver dryers.

I got dryer from them in July 2010. Part # 129101 including the switch for #246.56.

I talked with Dennis today and described the dryer in my car.
His, and everyone else's, has three ports. Mine has 4 ports, all in the block housing the sight glass.
He has seen them but does not know where to get them.
He put me onto a guy in Ft. Lauderdale so we'll see what happens.
I'll let everyone know if I ever locate a source.

Some cars had two separate pressure switches (high and low) and hence needed the extra port. If you replace the dryer with a 3-port dryer you just need to have the dual hi/lo switch. My dryer came with the switch included so problem solved.

Mine had 4 ports but the drier I bought from Ricambi came with tthe dual switch. Easy repair, you can do it yourself. Just buy it and don't worry.
