So I heard from a reputable source that some Countaches are pulling in near $200k in EU Any solid info on this ? Wouldnt mind flipping mine for the right price
True, The early periscope cars are worth the most I imagine Any idea on value of an 86 5000QV injected in solid shape in EU & USA ?
A realistic price on a solid F/I injected 86 CT inmo is around 80k.. The high priced CTs are low bodies, periscope cars, and DD's.
I am in the market for a GOOD sub $100K 5000s or Injected QV. Open on color. Condition is most important to me. PM me if you know of anything...
......................................Gullwing motorcars Astoria New York , Countach driver for $ 80K Black , fuel injected.
Yeah, I have seen this. (Although NOT in person) Generally this vendor has cars that are on the low end of the condition spectrum. I also prefer a car without the 88.5 skirts. THANKS though....
bill pollard told me you have a very nice ct. he first spoke of the car about 9 yrs ago. how long have you owned it? pcb
For italian-european market: a great weber QV is worth a bit over 150k euro in Europe, an FI QV quite a bit less not that is a bad car, but most people here look only for carbed countach, the european original version an FI car is not much sought after in Europe, if it is a very good one i would say it is a 100k euro car, not much more than this a nice LP400 slim countach is worth 300k euro and more here
Not too long ago I did a US wide search for a countach, looked under every rock, and located every availble car in the USA. There's no drivable FI QV for 80K, only problem cars. Something that runs is 95K at the lowest, up to 120ish for a really nice one like the one that black one that was recently on dupont.
thats a bargain. grab it if you can. and check if it's actually running good, or just looks good on the internet. some cars look great on the internet, then when you dig in you find out that it needs a lot of things.
Hmm, I could let her go for $120 & get into a Ford GT Mines fully sorted, Al Burtoni worked on the engine, trans, suspension, added headers. Bill Pollard worked on her too Had the fuse box relays all redone so it actually drives at night w lights on, ac, & tunes Gonna do a respray and maybe I'll put her up on ebay Its been in a storage w dehumidifier for a while but engine started up often
I searched for about 6 mo for a white countach. I was ok with FI, but preferred injected. No anniversary though. Found a single one that already had a considerable deposit on it and couldn't get it. I gave up, and am working on a Dino now. Slightly different cars.
I also searched for about 9 months for a QV. Tons of anniversary cars out there, but QV's dont come available as much. Cars in the 80's for the most part have issues (unless you get lucky) There was a 88 white/red for sale about 9 months ago, that could have been had for alittle more than 70K, if you moved quick (Didnt look at it, but detailed pics from the owner looked good) It was later sold by a dealer for north of 95 and went to Russia. I think a fair price for a QV is about 100K (if it is a good car) People asking north of that IMO are just "asking" There really arent many buyers out there
