Has anyone had any experience with the new Testarossa front brake rotors being offered by maseratisource on ebay for $249.00 a set?

That does sound a little too cheap. My advice is to get a better brake kit and put the originals in the attic of your garage (where mine are) - you'll have much better brake feel and power, and much less headache.

My stock front calipers were replaced once and rebuilt a couple times in about 40k miles so I went with the big brake kit (that still fits in the 16" wheels) and I never looked back.

Which Big Brake Kit did you go with ? I thought they all needed the upgrade to 18 inch wheels?

Depending on the big brake kit, yes, most needed a change to 18 inch wheels, but I wanted to keep the originals. Not sure if it is even still available, but I got it and had it installed by Wide World of Cars about 10 years ago - It was a Stillen kit with Brembo calipers.

They also list the Brembo Front Kit with Brembo discs and rotors for $1100 more but I think that kit requires the larger wheels

Yup, I think that's it. Am not 100% sure of my disk size, but they are really tight in the 16" wheels.

Inflation over the last 10 years: I bought the upgrade from the dealer and had it installed for $2,500 + tax...
