    Hello, as some know, I have been on hiatus for some time, due to some unforeseen events .... it was not fun ...... however .... I am now working toward getting back on track! I have a few more projects to complete and this the first since my absence ..... :)

    Here it is .... my All New Design 'Cat-Back' F355 Ultra-Flow Exhaust!!! This system has been in the works for several months. In addition to having the proven flow-through design of previous systems, it features new vented exhaust tips!! This tip design has several benefits, they draw ambient air through the back of the tip to;

    1. cool the exhaust gas temperature, which keeps from discoloring the tips. So they not only look 'cool' ....... they are ..... :cool:!!!

    2. allow a 'transition stage' for the rapid exhaust gasses, to transfer more smoothly into the outside air. This reduces turbulence which increases flow!

    3. ever so slightly ...... being as the vents are positioned in the 'hot side' of the engine/exhaust area ....... they encourage that hot air to be 'drawn out' by creating a low pressure zone at the vents .... via 'venturi' effect!

    This system is a pure example of 'form following function'!! I anticipate solid double digit RWHP gains ......... and of course we cannot leave out our hollowed 355 favorite ........... an epic F1 sound!!!

    Here are some pics of the new system ............... :)!!

    Looks awesome!

    I am very intrigued, but have some questions:
    1) What material is it made from and coated with?
    2) Have you mounted it on your car and can we hear it?
    3) How much does it weigh?

    Thanks ;)

    Goth did my exhaust with the "Scuderia" look that exists the exhaust tips through the bumper. When it was on the dyno, we gained about 22RWHP form the exhaust alone. Car has a different tone but I love it. Deeper base at idle and slow speeds, burble when you lift, and high pitch at full throttle.Best thing I have done to my car and I have done alot of mods.

    Thanks for the welcome and good words guys ......... it is good to be back :)!!!!!!

    This exhaust has my standard satin/brushed stainless finish ...... it weighs about 28 lbs. and was made for a fellow 355 owner .... whom posted right after my pics ... :eek:

    This system was 'cat back' only to retain primary and bypass cat functionality. It will use the factory bypass valve and has plenty of flow capacity, should there be any future mods.

    I too am hoping to see/hear some video of this system, as it went straight from design, to fabrication, pictures, then shipped off ........ I have not tried this design on my 355 ....... however there was a relentless effort, to get maximum flow with a single bypass 'cat back' system ...... the internal design reflects it ...... there was also no problem achieving the desired sound preferences.

    There is a twin bypass version in the works for the 5.2 ........ however this system will flow HUGE ....... so I am confident this configuration will make a mark of its own ..... :cool:
