    Exactly. Think trackday Reventon. Extreme limited production, possibly 12 in the world at the end of it; the Concept we've seen, 00/10 at Frankfurt and ten production examples.

    Not homologated for road use, $500,000US to $750,000US price range, no color choice.

    The opening paragraph should explain where I got my information. That is to say, out of my ass. It is pure speculation, based on Lamborghini's past actions, VAG's past actions, my own personal wants and desires and actual research.

    The most famous element of this post is the speculation that the Gallardo replacement will be named "Cabrera". This speculative name has been repeated by all kinds of automotive websites, including Edmunds Inside Line.

    While it is speculation, it is also based upon Lamborghini's own tradition of naming their cars after either famous breeds of Spanish fighting bulls, or specific famous bulls. Cabrera is a bloodline of Miura fighting bull, as is Gallardo. I simply looked at the list of names in the Miura fighting bull subspecies and chose the most "Lamborghini-ish" name.

    Because I have based this speculation on tradition, current business actions of the maker and clues given to us by various factory representatives, one can imagine that I might get a couple things right, or at least sound very plausible. There is nothing here that couldn't happen realistically, but there is much here that simply won't happen.

    According to Winkelman, the minimum the Sesto Elemento will be is $2 Million US and will be for track use only, according to the last interview with him in EVO Magazine.
