It was obvious to me that it was a typo. I was surprised at how he came after you!

 

CS is timeless...where is a clean 4,000 mile rosso scuderia no stripe market these days? im talking about an immaculate example. i know where the asking prices are but where r they trading? has to be best bang for the buck out there as far as im concerned.

 

I bet you are right. But I have a question. The factory stripe seems like a very important (desired) feature on a Scud. Other than an add on not being from the factory why do "Ferrari enthusiasts" not seem to desire the ones as much that don't have the stripe? The way I state this may not make sense, but I hope you can see what I am trying to ask. I really don't know.

 

i wldnt sell mine tho...i may buy another one...hence my interest!

 

my 2 cents is as follows: after many years ive concluded that the car looks cleaner and more lethal if u will wihtout the stripe. And the stripe is a sticker which was applied at the factory, its not painted, so means less to me. whether or not the facotry installed the stripe became worth less to me as time went on. If it were painted i may feel differently. Also i think the stripe craze got out of control with the 430 scuds and some of the mystique has been marginalized.

 

i can appreciate that...its a tough car to sell...it gets the best of ur emotions...

 

yup...CS is as close as a religious experience to the f40 as u can get...

 

I would be that possible seller in TX...

Didn't we just see this car for sale a few weeks ago? The guy must have just gotten it.

 

Dude...relax. It was a joke; in other words, I'lll be able to afford one in 2022. I am well aware of the typical V8 life cycle for these cars. Otherwise, I was genuinely interested in your observations that the 458 build quality is lower, as a newer model, than its CS predecessor.

 

Titled issued on 7/12/11 with 8177 miles .... 1300 miles of expensive fun " unexperienced " driving!

I really wanted that car, love the yellow. Saw the bad news to tonight on EBay.

 

I was thinking the same thing. The way these cars are dropping like flies, ours should be worth $250K soon!

 

sorry to see this - they are such great cars.

 

That sucks. I saw this car in New Orleans in 2004, Vegas in 2005, and New York in 2007.
