I think it's safe to say that R's is your favorite, Mark.

 

Mine is without question my favorite but I'm biased
That Yellow CS is hot though.....It is the only car I kiss when I see it everytime.

 

Yours is my favorite by a mile, R's is a close second.

 

One thing that might help is that the USD is sooooo cheap that some get exported

I'd guess there are hundreds in the US still that meet that definition...now how many are for sale at any point...few I'd venture...

 

I wouldn't guess that. Have we ever got a definitive number on how many came to the U.S.? I thought it was 300 or so. If so, I'd bet most are wrecked.

I wonder if that makes any sense at all...

I am starting to think that if my current car (factory stripe, full leather dash and seats, fire ext, spare, radio) is becomming a somewhat rare "collectable" that maybe having another to track on occasion would be fun...boy what I would give for more garage space!

 

I thought it was 300 or so in the U.S. but 1500 total. If it's 700 then I'd agree with you.

 

As much as they are to fix, I'm not seeing the benefit in tracking it. $3500 for one rear view mirror? I know that's sacrilege here but geez, they're beyond ridiculous to fix.

So just the amount wrecked here in the U.S. is a big chunk of that.

 

I recall that the US production was about 352.

 

All I ask for is just 1 car in my garage, still searcing among the 1288 cars for the right one.......

 

I did some google work and it looks like somwhere in the 370 +/- range for US CS...so maybe there are only 200 left without accident history? who knows...

So let's say 370 in the U.S.

I'd bet at least half are wrecked or totaled.
