Led by the 911 and then the Boxster and Cayman partially offset by gains in the Cayenne and Panamara over last year. Wonder if some incentive deals are coming. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-08-12/porsche-s-deliveries-fell-to-10-722-vehicles-in-july-correct-.html
I'm not that suprised because the overall economy that was maybe ever-so-slightly regaining its footing last year appears more shaky over the last 6 months. That, and possibly people that put off buying/leasing in 2009, but did so in 2010 have not his the replacement cycle yet.
LOL! somewhere there's a skeleton of an indecisive customer in a Porsche dealer... GT3? GTS? GT2? maybe a Black Series......arghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!
Not surprising as the next generation 911 is coming soon. Still, how many want to take that hit on a new one?
My first though as well. And porsche has been "showing" the 991 with progressively less camouflage weekly since march. I can't imagine they are "selling" any 911's currently. Leases sure... but to buy the outgoing model when the unveiling of the next generation is next month is foolish.
