I'm inclined to think that this should be renamed the "Buckhead Spotters Thread". And maybe we should start a new thread "Atlanta Spotters Thread - Other Than Buckhead". With 218 pages already in this thread, a change would be refreshing.

Saw a 430 and new Maserati participating at the Chin Motorsports DE event at R/A this weekend. (Truely the place where these companies made their cars to reside and not in valet parking).

Change every so often is a good thing. As far as the direction for this particular thread, we lost some great spotters over time. I have to say they added more than I can do. However if your counting pages #210 through #217, my pics have averaged over 677 views per page. A pretty big crowd follows this spotters thread which I'm glad to be a part of. I always thought of taking pics and sharing as a pleasure. But seeing great cars never grows old no matter where their location. Just saying...... and besides pics are free of charge.

Why do I like that shot of the SLS in the rain so much? So hot.

Hi John, I was pretty proud of this pic. If you can believe that moments before this shot, it was blue skies and sun all around with no hint of rain. It came down so hard and fast. The unusual thing about this pic is the driver was no where to be found. The vehicle was left in the center lane (possibly with a flat tire?)

Wow, that is weird! Funny thing, my buddy sent me some shots a few weeks ago of him driving this exact car (owned by a friend, I guess). I'll have to ask him about it being abandoned. Great shot regardless. I need to get out with my camera more.

Thanks for keeping this thread going!

John, I think you should come out with your camera. It will be a welcome addition. Besides you never know what's around that corner. Thanks for the compliments it's well appreciated.

Here are my pics for Saturday evening. My first ever spot of a late 60's Triumph right hand drive TR5 PI. A very attractive car, I especially like the roof assembly.

I was in my 308 this morning and passed a 86-87 red/tan 328 GTS with an older gentleman driving. He did acknowledge my car as we passed and waved thumbs up to each other. What is anyone on here? It was not Jim P.

I can't believe you're seeing all these 458's. I live right next to Phipps and I have yet to see a 458 in the wild.

Jason, with as many 458's on the road now...... seeing a 360 CS on the street is even more rarer :).

Hi Reuben, The blue Italia was parked at "The Mansion" in Buckhead directly across the street from Morton's Steakhouse.

Well the torch has finally been passed. 458 Italia's out numbered F430 spots..... for Saturday at least. A total of four 458's were spotted. One of them was on Ontario tags and in fact several cars had out of state licenses. The red F430 had Oklahoma tags and the silver Gallardo roadster was from Alabama. And finally, the gray California was from the Carolina's.

@horse-power - the red 430 and green lambo that are always spotted at marlows are mine. if you ever want to climb around the inside of one just come in and ask. the yellow gallardo is a friend's car. I'm sure he'd open it up too.

Hi Reuben, my pulse rate just hit the ceiling after reading your post. Thanks for the generous offer. Looking forward to talking cars with you in the future and hopefully getting the chance to hear the Lambo V12. Thanks again, West

Traded that in last week for an AM DB9. That car has the X50 package too, with only 21k miles. It was a great car.
