I dont know it personally at all, I simply looked at the pics as directed by Mike and observed several mods..
Sorry to get a little offtopic here but it seems like theres alot of different mirrors being used on all of these cars and I've seen most of them on other cars as well like Alfas and corvettes save for these http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=735355&stc=1&d=1211704283 and I gotta ask what model mirrors are these on the countach on the right.
On the Countach These are Italian Vitaloni electric "Turbo" mirrors....... also used on Euro 308QV's and Euro 328's. Very very hard to come by these days and expensive..... Also come in a non electric model called"Baby Turbo"....appear on Ebay regularily! Hope this helps, P
I have a brand new set of those "Electric Turbo" mirriors still in the bag/box, did not know they were worth something...maybe should sell them, I have no use for them ?
Thanks and am I right in thinking that they also used a different model of mirrors for the 25th aniversary? they do look different somehow I'm not sure if its because it was painted or if it is a different model altogether. http://www.lamborghinihouston.com/images/Lamborghini/Anniversary_Countach/966_H677/med/Lamborghini_Anniversary_Countach_1.jpg
and they just painted a little bit more of the stem that connects the mirror to the car the same color as the body to make it look a little bit more professional?
surely we can't theorize "why" they painted or didn't paint mirrors... back on topic with a photo ...thanks Lambocars.com... Image Unavailable, Please Login

I am still amazed at the angle that engine has to be put at, to fit it back into the car! AMAZING! Beautiful car Roy! Can't wait to see it in person!!!! Mike
It's LAM*0024. (My Silhouette was originally this colour and I hope it will be again...) I managed to get a sample from a PPG distributor in the UK. Please PM me if you want their contact details. It looks like the Espada up for auction at RM this week is the same colour: http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm?SaleCode=MO11&CarID=r177&fc=0# I also recently saw a Maserati Ghibli in the 'flesh' which was this colour (at the Silverstone Classic in the UK), and it was quite stunning. Picture attached (which doesn't really do it justice). Finally, as you probably know, there is a Countach S1 in the US in the same colour: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=161526&highlight=rame+colorado [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0SbGAghMZw[/ame] Cheers Jonathan Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Jonathan! I dont belive the RM Espada is in Rame C., not so light copper as Brian`s Countach. The US Rame C. Countach is an S2 btw.
Wow ! Amazing ! I think it was three years ago when you told me that the restoration is gonna take several years and I joked about them sittng down and eating donuts. Finally you will soon have your LP 400 back.
Was your car advertised for sale at Lamborghini Registry 5 years ago or so ? when you bought it if so , clearly I remember that ad also I recall the asking price ...
Allow me to answer this question in the affirmative because it is I who placed the Ad, and sold the car to Roy. I also recall the asking price, and I imagine that Roy has exceeded it again in the cost of the 5-year restoration.
