Does anyone have knowledge of replicating the test wire and the button used to pull error codes from a Motronic 2.7 ECU? I contacted Ricambi and was told that Ferrari stopped making them and no longer available. Thanks.

Check with the guys that part the cars out. I see FerrParts is breaking a Mondial T; I believe that uses the same test wire and button since it is the same engine as a 348. Lots of other breakers out there if they don't have what you need, or in a pinch I'm sure someone would lend you one of their button/wire harnesses so you can pull your codes.

If you have the "pigtail" coming off each of the Motronic units, then all the button does is to make a temporary contact between the two wires when you pull the codes. You could make your own pushbutton harness adapter for less than $5, I would think.

You DO have a USA certified 348 with 2.7 Motronic, correct? Are you sure the pushbutton harness isn't just tucked behind the carpet?

See illustration in owners handbook, page C12.

    Hi Jeff,
I looked everywhere around both ECU's; no wires and buttons. Hope someone has a source for one or knows how to replicate the wire.

Could you have a Euro model?
