Hello folks, new to the forum. This place is great! So many questions to find answers for and rabbits to chase. I'm a far-future owner, but a future owner for sure. Been a fan of the brand as long as I can remember, but only recently committed to making ownership a reality rather than a dream. I'm on my way, and convinced I'll be in good company in the mean time.

Thanks I have always loved the 355's, particularly the GTS and Berlinetta. Knowing that they are one of the most expensive non-GT cars to service is moderately terrifying Because of that, I guess I'm undecided. I'll either get the "dream car" 355 or be a little more rational and pickup a nice 328 that'll still turn heads and be a blast to drive, while not killing me on the maintenance. Oh well, I have awhile to save and mull it over. (Just bought a house!)
You might want to look into the 308/328 - virtually all major service can be done with the engine in the car so it's a LOT less costly to maintain them. Still not cheap, no. But much less than a 355 Good luck in your quest one day... congrats on the new house. Jedi
Ha! Ask me again in 5 or 10 years. In the mean time, I'll have to settle for the miata timing belt service for all my knuckle-busting needs.
