Nino was off that day. It was the fifth of May, St. Agnes (the lesser)'s feast and he'd gone off with Stella the Baker's wife for a nooner.
    Geez I thought you'd know.

i checked...you're right.....it seems, however, after they had cold chicken and wine, against nino's wishes stella left the curtains open. he finally saw stella full in the daylight...he was a changed man and dedicated the rest of his life to the restoration of the local church, still damaged from a WWII bombing raid.....[i have the names of the aircraft's captain and crew somewhere here...]

Very good. A few more decades of intensive scholarship and you'll give Wayne a run for his money.

Actually, that was his cover story. What really happened was - Nino offered Stella's husband, Mario 1,500 lira [which only insulted Nino] then 15,000 [No-a!] - then 150,000 [Deal-io!] just to see Stella's breasts - as Nino surely thought they must be the loveliest in all Modena. Mario called Stella in from the kitchen, 'splained a little something-something to her and off Mario went to decide how he was going to spend the 150,000.

    Meanwhile, Stella popped 'em loose and Nino went to town, first caressing and kissing the right . . . "I-a dunno . . . ", then the left "I-a dunno . . . " . . . then the right . . . "I-a dunno . . . " . . . finally, Stella said, "whattayoumeann-a you-a don'a' know-a? These-a are-a the loveliest-a breast-as in-a alla Modena".

Until Mario stopped him a half hour later, Nino kept at it, saying "I-a dunno . . . where-a I'm-a gunna get-a the money-a."

Yes, that has to be it.
    :)

The 'S' was very important in that it signified 51 HP rather than a mere 48 HP, and a four-speed rather than three-speed transmission. It also had four-wheel disc brakes with funky French 3-lug wheels.

    thanks,
    Edwardo

In the OP's pic the car is in motion, causing the window frames to appear wider than they really are. Windows up here:

Had a buddy in HS with a '62 Lancer - pushbutton auto trans on the dash was novel, and you just couldn't kill that slant-6! Aahh... the memories.

I know this is a Mercedes S-class, but can you help me with which specific #? Looking at pictures it seems to be an S63 or S65 not an S550 or S600. Thanks
