I stopped at a customer of mine and lo and behold what do I see but a white Countach on a rack after painting. The shop owner would not let me take pics and he and the guy working on it were not interested in talking about it. They wouldn't give me the serial number and looked at me like I was nuts when I asked.

One of the mechanics said he thought it was an 86 or 87 with about 12k on it. It was white with white interior and white wheels and it looked to have the original Pirelli tires.(probably why it was in the body shop) The body man did say it was recently purchased in CA and the owner, who lives in Willoughby, has several other cars. This one was put into a wall and had damage all the way down the drivers side. I can't tell you how extensive the was because it was ready for reassembly. I can vouch for the quality of the work from this shop as they are one of the best around, just not real excited about having a Lambo.

Anyone know about this car? I can't imagine there are too many white on white with white wheels are out there.

You guys are being weird and stalker-like.

I don't think the car's owner would appreciate you asking the shop the VIN, trying to sneak pictures, and calling out on the internet to anyone and everyone looking for info.

Precisely. The OP mentions the shop is his customer, I wonder what that customer thinks of *his* customer's private business being spread around?

I could care less about his privacy. If he was so worried about his privacy he would not have dragged the car against a wall. It is a public business. If you guys are scared of his privacy let him buy his own bodyshop. :)
This coumminity should know the VIN as the owner will sell it one and not mention the wreck.....like so many loser sellers.

I don't know about this. I'd think the owner has a right to get his car worked on without VIN and pics being all over the internet.

Ducman is ALREADY spreading ideas that may or may not be correct. Ducman says the car has been crashed into a wall, but he hasn't seen any damage because the paint is done. Could be a respray for all Ducman knows. Could be a kit car for all Ducman knows.

Also, I wanted to mention that my girlfriend is having a titjob on tuesday, and I don't want any of you weirdos trying to sneak in and get the serial numbers off the implants. :)

I posted this because I know guys like Joe keep track of these cars and their whereabouts and as years go by they get harder to find. How much damage is unknown. They did respray the whole car and did it correctly by disassembling everything that could be removed.

I made a post like this a few years ago about a Ferrari 330 GTC that had been off the radar since the 80's.
