Now that Austin is on the official FIA calendar, will the race really happen?

  1. Yes, it will happen.

  2. No, no way for construction to finish.

its operating on a public road....they'd impound it. Last year, two guys were riding horses drunk downtown, got a DUI, the city impounded their horses....

With complete certainty. Still might be worth it. Run last year's Toro Rosso car... who cares.

Some men you just can't reach....

Formula 1 United States™ Race Date
We know many of you have had questions about the Formula 1
race date at Circuit of The Americas, and we are now moving toward the definitive answer. Bernie Ecclestone recently confirmed earlier reports of a revised 2012 F1 schedule, placing the United States Grand Prix in November 2012.

Please note that the schedule, which contains numerous adjustments from the calendar issued in June by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, is not considered official until the World Motor Sports Council ratifies it at its meeting later this year.

    Those non-refundable reservations are a ***** huh?

But still not official. I hope it is November.

Has there been a " official" proposed seating chart published?

Is that the finished track? Racing line seems a bit dusty... Maybe it'll get better as rubber is laid down.

So were all the streets closed off when they filmed? By the time I made it up there, I was able to walk from capital to 17th street. Stayed until they rolled it over to the museum.

Must have just missed it. *sigh* :(
