    Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum. It looks like a great forum very active, with loads to read and learn and members from all over the world! Fantastic.
I'm not a Ferrari owner (yet) but this is the first step with that in mind.
Not sure what model my partner and I will get yet, (she is as keen as I) she loves the the original 308gts or gtb's, I love em all.
Were active with other classic cars and clubs, so a Ferrari is our natural next step really we hope. But we will take some time to gather some information before we make a decision.
Anyway, just saying hi, reading like mad so we can get some idea as to what the pro's and con's of each model might be.

    Best regards
    Rob

    Thanks Rob,

I guess with the Austin Healey and the Jag, you're quite into British cars? :D

    My dad has a 1959 Triumph TR3A that's pretty cool. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Yes its a disease you know,
I would have to say I'm just into cars outright really, ive had Alfas, fiats, hot commodores, (opel) tubo subaru's etc etc, but just find them all interesting and fun.
I also have a 2 door escort that my then 16yo son and I bought together to build as a track car one day, but thats a another story and not allot has been done on that one as yet. That ones up to him.
The TR3A is a great old sports car, and some of them quite fast too, its a bit like the Healey though, how fast do you really want to go in these cars.
Their chassis are quickly over powered these days as power levels quickly rise well above what they were originally designed for with the modern engine components available today.
    All great fun though.

    cheers

    Hi,
    Many thanks for your welcome,
Im slowly gathering information about different cars, trying to find out as much as I can.
I actually enjoy this part just about as much as the buying and owning! its quite fun doing the research and then the purchase.
The English cars are great too, Im glad you like them! wasn't sure if I was going to get yelled off the forum for being a fan of pommy cars, but so far people have been keen to know more about them, which is good.
Iv'e had a great time with them for many years and probably never sell them, I look at the Ferrari purchase as an extention of the garage, not as a replacement for one of them.
    All good fun.
    Cheers
    Rob
