Aaron, I just sent you an email about the 550 tonight! Decided to do some reading on F-chat about 550M and stumbled across this. Mate, when you told me about this back in March, I thought you were crazy with the distance you were talking about. Now I read this whole thread and wished I could have picked one up with you too! Maybe I will need to get one so we can do a re-run of our little mountain and track joust like we did in our GT3/GT3RS. :)

    Hi Aaron,

A bit late finding your excellent thread, just read from page 1 to page 12!! So glad you had such a great time, it`s something all Ferrari owners need to do sometime in their life!!

I did a trip much the same as yours a few years back in my 348 Spider, driving around 11,000 km in 7 weeks, I think its time to plan another visit back home for the 348 after reading about yours!!

If you do this again you must drive down the A7 Milan - Genova, then take the A10 down to San Remo, its a beaut....

    Best regards,
    Phil.

    Thanks Phil,

It was one of the best experiences that I have had and I am currently planning the next trip for next year. I think a 599 might be on the cards too...

Very nice! The 599 is a wonderful machine and I'm sure you would enjoy her immensely.

Would the 599 be an addition to the 550 or a replacement?

P.S. Send me a PM if you happen to pass by Monaco during your next Euro-trip :)

Thanks Carlo, the 599 would be in addition as it would remain in the UK for 18 months for the purpose of road trips.

I will PM you 100% as I will be in m/c for either late January or June 2012. What is the weather like in Late Jan??
