Homestead Ferrari Challenge

There's an event setup on Facebook and quite a few people have responded to say they are attending. I'm geographically challenged, as usual, but will still pull every string imaginable to attend.

 

I'll go, hopefully my F40 will be back by then

 

I plan on going, and will start the caravan from the north...

Any word yet on possible F1 cars? Are they doing the usual Corsa Clienti? I still have the sound of the 599xx's ringing in my ears from last year!!!!

 

I've been waiting for this thread to pop up. I'll be there on Saturday shooting all day. I was planning on joining the caravan at the Collection but 7:30 is quite early. Is the caravan leaving at 7:30 or is that when breakfast is starting?

I'm coming over from Sarasota and it's a 3 hour drive but I'd still love to join the cruise and try to get some photos. Anyone know some info on a press pass or how I can get close to the track for photos? I've only been to Homestead for an INDY race and I don't know how the Ferrari Challenge guys are.

It's not on the F1 or XX Calendars They're shown as being at Spa around the same time. Maybe next year
It looks like admission is only $10

 

I don't know what time the caravan is supposed to leave the Collection, but I plan on leaving PBG around 8ish.

That really stinks. The Challenge cars are great but seeing all those Fxx, F1, and 599XX really makes it mind blowing.

 

Anyone coming from the PB area and doesn't mind a passenger?

 

Anyone willing to take out a passenger (ME!!!) for a session on the track will get a special photo present. PM me for the goodies

 

I think the best I'll be able to do this year is watch it from the roof of my house with a high powered telescope!

No........... but it's a super special deluxe double knot spy telescope with X-ray capabilities and laser directional metering as well as a newly developed military GPS guided location tracking sensor! Patent pending.
It was less than the access fee to the event, not including tax.
