I got mine through CDW yesterday; the prices didn't drop until mid-morning, and I already had an email into my sales rep there.

Just curious, 16 or 32? I know a couple people in IT that went that route too with success.

Ugh, just found out our order for 3 cases was cancelled by the seller.

I'm sure I can find a way to blame Best Buy for this!

There is a frenzy for cheap (< $20) cases and all are sold out or the price went up.

I've checked several local stores and they're out

Now I have to decide whether to buy more expensive cases or wait out the frenzy and hope some are available afterwards. Double ugh.

Damn you BB and case seller! :(

The HP touchpad official case is crap. Serious crap. for the MSRP of $50, I feel like it is barely stronger than construction paper. It would help keep the tablet intact in case you drop it; but that is about it. I'm returning mine... and debating weather or not I'll keep the toushstone charger. It's neat, brings up a clock app that otherwise seems to be hidden.

Good to know; thanks. Is the "toushstone charger" the charging dock? That does seem pretty cool and I have my eye on it. If I can find one < $40 I might get it.

Yeah, the charging dock is neat. For one, you can set it up to do sideshows, or play a movie, and actually see it without holding it.

I assume you would have to take it out of a case to charge, correct?

FYI, Office Depot has discounted the dock to $39.99 and the case to $19.99: http://www.officedepot.com/catalog/search.do?fkey=EtZEWGYrwLICgs-EpG6GiQt&Ntt=touchstone+charging+dock

I bought the last of each at my local store. Technically the price change doesn't hit the stores until tomorrow but they will match the online price today.

Note sure if I'll keep the charger. Probably won't if have to remove touchpad from a case for the charging to work.

Agreed, I bought one b/c it was on sale and couldn't find anything else. I'll probably return it.

After leaving Office Depot I stopped by Big Lots and bought a couple ipad items to see if they fit the HP, only $10 each.

The Dual Zippered Sleeve is a tight fit but I can zip it closed. I'm concerned it's so tight it might activate the buttons; I'll probably return it.

The keeper is the Duo Flipstand. It fits great and have access to the buttons and charging port on the HP. I'm more comfortable holding the device too. Only downside is lack of screen protection; I might keep the above sleeve and just slide it into that though can't close it with the flipstand on.

I might try other ipad cases to see if they fit.

I just tried calling 1 (800) 790-6947 for more info and they have an auto message that says if calling about the Touchpad to check the website next week. I was holding for a rep to try to get more details but hungup after a few minutes. I'm curious if they'll charge shipping.

After thinking about this... this is a brilliant move by HP. They are ensuring that the real intelectual property of WebOS lives on. How many Touchpad's had been sold to date before the liquidation? Maybe 15-20,000 is my best guess without knowing if such data was made available.

They mfr'd about 200,000 of them from what I recall... What I wonder is if they are taking a loss or not.

I have not been able to locate one. I want to give Ms. REMIX a tablet. My broke ass neighbors in foreclosure managed to get 2 of them and they already have 2 shiny new iPad 2s.

I just called (800) 790-6947 and told availability is still TBD. The rep did say once available that orders will be limited to one per customer.
