As posted earlier, I failed the CA emmisions test. I found the right cat to be basically hollow. I thought about Hyperflows, but couldn't get them quick enough. So went to the brotherhood for help. Replaced the right cat with OEM Ferrari cat off another 348. Not new, but in good condition. Check out the results.....

Clean runnin' car bro! Mine has even lower readings than yours... my 20 year old exotic runs cleaner than the '02 Miata I used to have!

Let me say Lou, that I am sorry I did not think of lending you my old originals first. Since I have a goth set up, my original versions are sitting in the garage somewhere.

    Note to the brotherhood:

If you are in need of a loan of some cats to pass your smog test, don't hestiate to contact me. Bolt them on, pass the test and give 'em back later.

Nice results Lou. Mine are somewhat marginal, but due to tuning. :)

I believe you did. But I needed a replacement and couldn't really do the job myself at home. With 2 kids, no time!

Are Hyper-Flows CARB approved yet? If not, good thing you didn't buy them, you would have failed visual.

When I last smogged my car the guy even gave me **** about the headers not being stock. It is getting tougher in California . . .

The Hyper-Flow Cats have been around for a long time and have had a lot of testing done on them by some folks on here that are very well respected. When I need replacements I will send Daniel at Ricambi a note and order a set of Hyper-Flow Cats from him. He includes replacement donuts, hmm he may even throw in a Coffee :)
