Was an entertaining fight card, although I felt like I was about to watch a gay porn shoot when Ebersole and Hallman walked into the ring. WTF is up with that stupid looking arrow shaved out of Ebersole's chest hair? And that bikini shorts of Hallman.........are you kidding me? I'd refuse to fight someone wearing that.

Belfort looked amazing, classic stuff right there.

I would have liked for Tito's Cinderella story to continue, but Evans is one of the very top LHWs, and Tito is just not there anymore.

How good is Rory MacDonald? This kid looks amazing every time he fights. He will be a Champ someday.

On another note, Joe "Daddy" Stevenson" has been released from the UFC.

The fights were good. That Vitor turned it on!!!!! Man did he look good!!!!! Rashad was just too much for Tito. Poor Tito, That Knee to the solarplex was GREAT Quick thinking for Rashad! MacDonald was impressive. I guess he is GSP's training partner. I actually liked the Hallman fight. Im a fan of Ebersole's.

I love that Dana gave Ebersole the ---thanks for getting the Speedo guy off Tv---bonus. And then he banned that form of shorts from UFC competition..

I like those picks except for Ludwig, I see him taking it to Amir. And I hope Jim Miller wins, although it is going to be a battle.

I just watched my DVRed main card last night. Beautiful win by Cerrone - I am a fan of his.

The Sadollah/Ludwig fight was entertaining, although I don't understand why Sadollah didn't try to get it to the ground. He was getting picked apart quite effectively by Ludwig, and I don't know how he didn't get knocked out. Very unusual game plan, I think.

The Henderson/Miller fight was amazing! Man, Miller does not stop working off of his back. One sub attempt after another - the guy is relentless. Ben is a hard guy to beat - so strong with great GnP. The guy has Crocop legs - tree stumps!

Lytle/Hardy was another awesome fight. Mad, mad props to Lytle - that guy gives it his absolute all each and every time he steps into the ring. It is sad to see him retire, but nice to see him go out on a win. I don't know what's next for Hardy - I wouldn't be surprised if he gets released.

Lytle's a warrior, great way to go out. Henderson will be a nightmare for anyone in LW, although I love Jim Miller. The new blood from WEC is exposing the "have-nots" - Oliveira (who is very talented) was just brutalized by the Cowboy. Big time Cerrone fan, just a tough-as-nails, just-want-to-fight kind of guy.

    LW is STACKED!

Not a great card for the UFC fight Oct.1 in DC, but it is close to home so I got tickets.. Gonna surprise my oldest son and take him since his birthday is on the 3rd. He takes jujitsu classes and loves training....

Not a stellar card, but you will get to see a title fight. Cruz should be exciting to watch. Also, the Barry/Struve fight should be interesting.

Even though you aren't overly impressed with the card on paper, it may end up being a very entertaining night. Have fun!

    Pick 'em...........

    UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami
    Date: Aug 27, 2011
    Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
    Venue: HSBC Arena
Broadcast: Pay-per-view, Spike TV and Facebook

    MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)

Champ Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami (for middleweight title) I think Silva wins this fairly easily.
Forrest Griffin vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua Shogun will avenge the loss.
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub Nog has to get him to the ground quickly. If he doesn't, he'll lose the stand up war.
Edson Barboza vs. Ross Pearson Pearson has some great skills. Fun to watch.
    Luiz Cane vs. Stanislav Nedkov

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV)

Spencer Fisher vs. Thiago Tavares Spencer is one of the grittiest fighters in the UFC. Hard to handle his pace.
Dan Miller vs. Rousimar Palhares I see Palhares winning this by some kind of painful submission. Miller is nowhere near his brother in talent.

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Facebook)

    David Mitchell vs. Paulo Thiago
    Raphael Assuncao vs. Johnny Eduard
    Erick Silva vs. Luis Ramos
    Felipe Arantes vs. Yuri Alcantara
    Yves Jabouin vs. Ian Loveland

Goin' with your Jersey boy in Miller, huh? I just hope Palhares doesn't snap anything with one of his nasty leg locks.

Every time that I think Anderson Silva can't impress me, he just does it again.

It's hard to disagree with that.

Nice performances by both Big Nog and Shogun - both convincing wins.

WTF was that brain fart by Palhares? He was literally a few seconds away from the fight really being stopped, yet he walks away prematurely thinking it was stopped. That almost cost him big time.

What I would really love to see now is Silva move up in weight to fight Jon Jones.............

I Keep thinking A. Silva vs Jones and try to justify how A. Silva could beat Jones... The only way I can see it happening is: Jones is still so young and inexperienced (fight wise) A. Silva's level of striking is BEYOND ANYTHING the UFC has EVER seen before. Like a Michael Jordan in BasketBall. Pretty much like Flyod Mayweather. He sees more and just is all around a more talented striker. Hopefully just two different levels of striking. That little difference could make a HUGE difference in a ring. HUGE! So thats my view!!!!! Go Silva!

Very nice! Cerrone stepped in to fight Siver in place of Stout (who pulled out due to his trainer and brother-in-law Shawn Tompkins' untimely death) in the GSP/Diaz event. That card is looking sick! I cannot wait for that one.
