http://www.autoblog.com/2011/08/24/kimi-raikkonen-to-test-peugeot-908-for-possible-le-mans-drive/ Autoblog is reporting that Autosport is claiming Kimi will be testing the 908 with the possibility of him joining Team Peugeot for the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans and the LMS. I'd love to see this happen, but I would think Kimi would be bored out of his mind endurance racing. If F1 couldn't keep his interest, how will enduro's??? Mark
Nah, they are just going to have him test the car. If it survives an hour with KR at the wheel, then 24 with the rest of the crew should be easy!
I too would like to see this happen, but I think you're right he's jut going to get bored at night and drive to the nearest pub.

I'd like to see Kimi do Le Mans and I really think its a possibility, he might not be looking for a long term commitment but maybe a one off shot at Le Mans could pique his interest. Probably would enjoy driving a 908 as oppposed to a nascar.

I think thats because he had already had enough of F1 and Ferrari. Who said Kimi doesn't have a sense of humour?
That result shows you the effect his disenchantment with F1 had on his performance. He didn't loose skill. His heart wasn't' in it.
Frankly Kimi is now showing a lack of committment in everything he undertakes. He left F1 to switch to rallying, now gets bored with that. His NASCAR trial doesn't seem to have motivated him in commit for a full season. Now this test with Peugeot is just another toe in the water. The speed may be there, and the talent was undeniable, but is there any discipline Kimi is really interested, and would his attitude not scare potential employers? I think introducing Kimi at Peugeot could be detrimental to the morale of the squad. Jacques Villeneuve didn't bring much, and Kimi could be the same.
