I was thinking about selling my 2007 599 GTB.. Would I be dreaming to get 245K for it.? I would have to get that to buy something else in mind. Here are the specs.... 2007 F1 2K miles Grigio Silverstone/Bordeaux,18 Options including 6 piece luggage set,Bose,Full leather interior,Nav.,Led Wheel,Full CF interior, custom mats, full ele/heated seats,CCBs,Bi-color interior, I had the HGTE kit/handling installed this Spring(wheels, tires, springs, sway bar,ecu for shocks,etc)..I also installed,cf door handles, mirrors and interior vent rings, wheel caps, and skid plates too. It was also FULLY serviced at my Ferrari dealer this Spring(4yr service) ALL fluids, aux drive belt, plugs, wires. This car is perfect and fully serviced! I removed the secondary cats and installed Fabspeed straight pipes and have the muffler valves so they stay open. It now sounds like a V-12 should,lol.. ALL work(except muffler work) was done by my authorised Ferrari dealer Steve Harris Imports..I have everything removed from the car including the cats and wheels and tires with only 1.5K miles on them. I also have all receipts for work done, every book and manual 2 keys and the window sticker...
I can't be that much help in evaluating the right price...just out of curiosity: why did you just put 2k miles within 4 years on such a beatuy? Just comparing you offer to others...getting 245k is possible, but I guess it will take quite a while because it's not really a bargain...and Bordeaux interior doesn't seem to be very popular.
I am not expert but I think that price is going to be a bit tough. It is exceptionally well optioned and has very low miles so it is possible. What are you looking to replace it with?
dont think u will get more than 210ish...my buddy bought an 07 about 9 months ago...1500 miles, pretty loaded....sweet color....paid $215
It is a fantastic car but I hate to say it that those numbers are going to be a lot closer to reality.
I actually looked for this combo because I think its beautiful/classy for a GT Ferrari. Who knows, lol A 16M I understand, I also bought my car about 10 months ago with 1,400 miles...I was thinking my options, color combo, All my extras added and the fact that its fully serviced might be able to draw 245K.. I understand its not cheap but someone would be getting a beautiful, well sorted/serviced 599 with the HGTE handling kit.. Iam also torn as its a V-12 and wonder if its really worth selling it to get a 16M which is a whole different car... Wish I could have both but thats NOT possible,lol.. Thanks for everyones opinions....Kevin
Your 2007 has the HGTE handling kit? I thought those came out around 2009. But if you upgraded the car to the HGTE then $245k sounds a bit less unreasonable. My local dealer had a 16M until just recently. It is a beautiful car and I think the convertible would definitely up the fun factor but it wont hurt your neck under heavy acceleration like the 599 (or at least that is my guess anyway as I have never driven a Scuderia just the regular 430).
$210 to $215 sounds more realistic. The 2007 I bought for $195 had 9700 miles and has the CF interior, Bose speakers, CC brakes etc, but no HGTE. The color combo probably had something to do with the price. (Red/tan) I'. ve never driven one with the HGTE, but I'm happy with how mine handles. Just for comparison, I've seen a 2008 Red/Tan with HGTE priced at $225. AJ
A quick eBay check might give you some guidance.as a two 599 owner(not at the same time) I have followed the values while I was interested in buying. I think your expectations are high by say $50k, still I wish you the best. Malcolm
First, let me say that a well sorted 599 is a great GT, IMO. However, I think more realistically 2007 versions are more likely to sell in the high $100's K range, especially thru private sale. As an aside, was at my local dealer today checking on the status of my 458 build; got on the subject of 599's with the sales manager, who flatly stated he will avoid trading for 599's as there is very little current interest in the car. In any event, good luck and remember, what you have now is already fantastic. Best.
Unfortunately "added aftermarket part" even if they are Ferrari oem parts will not add that much value to the car. You'd have to find that one person who would value the added parts and also not mind that you altered it from it's original form. In reality I would say your car is going to sell somewhere around $215-$225 max. Mine is a 07 same color as yours purchased from a Ferrari dealer for $212 with 2k miles on it. Yours has 1k more miles and the options which might average out to an extra $10k in value but not an extra $30k+.
