I switched my wifes computer and her password was saved in her old computer, the new one said it was no good so she did a password reset, and the email was never received so she an no longer log in... Now unless someone from that crappy site replies to my email, her entire season of tipping is F&***d... Maybe it's time to find a site that actually works from now on for next season.... I'm just saying

How is it that it's the website's problem when you can't remember your own password?
Heck, I forgot a password to one of my google e-mail id's, but that's my fault, not google's, and I always answer the security questions with some bogus answers, I forgot those, too, but again, that's on me, not google. I know what you are saying as far as customer service goes, it's like that all over.

F1 Tipping is the one I like the best, all the others give each driver a limit on the number of starts you can use, for some it is 8 a year, another one it is 4.

And now I keep a book with every different logon I have with password, security question answers. It's different for my banking and investing sites: I don't list passwords, I list my own personal tips to the passwords, in case the book falls into the wrong hands.

The old computer remembered the password, so for years, all she did was type in her username and password got auto filled in, and with the new computer, it's not there of course.

It's not the websites fault that she can't remember her password. It is the website fault that when you do a password reset, it doesn't send you an email with the new password or any instructions on what to do next. 99% of all websites that have a password reset, send you an email instantly. Most people make their picks on Friday and the deadline is later Friday or early Saturday before quali, so if someone needs to reset the password, it does them no good to get the email after the deadline, that's all I am saying....

I understand the frustration. My guess is the email on her Tipping account is outdated, return email got caught by spam filter, or there will be a longer delay for admin of Tipping to manually get back. Sorry.

She's had the same email address for 10+ years so that's not it. Not in the spam folder, unless it got caught by some pre-spam scan that her email account does before it even gets to her. But my guess, based on the past reliability of the tipping site, they just have a delay....

I still like the way the site is compared to some of the other sites though. Oh well, maybe she can come back.

That site is crap. the reason I'm not playing anymore is that I cannot get my password reset.

I have never lost my password, but it is easy to change and all online. I bet retrieving a forgotten password is a pain, if that's manual.

It's got a "reset password" link right next to the login screen, but when you do it, nothing ever comes.... Is there anyone that actually replies if you email them?

I would log on and see if there's any contact information but the site is down, again, with the "oops" message.... shocker...

I haven't been able to get on since the weekend

It's showing "server error", lets me log in, and indicates the next GP as Belgium.

No results from that race, but all the historical stuff shows up

The server error is a banner ad that isn't showing up and has been there for a very long time. Sometimes the guy enters the results right away and sometimes he doesn't do it for a week or more so he must be out of town...LOL

I hate when they don't post the results. It has actually been a long time since they were so slow getting them up. (Maybe hate is too strong a word :) )

    Hey John!!

Last year they had the same problem. If you got in before the crash you scored, if you missed out, you missed.

cost me about 40 points last year.

    Hey Dave,
How's the Starbucks cars and coffee?
I see you are selling your car, I know you were really liking it, how has the ownership experience been? I have been thinking 360 for a while (but I'm broke).

    On the tipping,
I am fine with that :)
Though it would be OK if they kept it fair for everyone.

We miss you out there. Kinda dull these days.

Sort of selling my car might be a better description. Seems like no matter how reasonable a price you list, the bottom feeders come out and try to beat you down.

Price is firm, it's a great car. Sell it, don't sell it, either way works for me. I love the car, just getting the three and 1/2 year itch. :D

Still down, I'm beginning to wonder if they are gone for good. And I was in the lead going into this last weekend, wouldn't you know.
