MS drove brilliantly in the race. If he could have started like Nico, he would been a threat for the podium.

I don't quite agree with that. When Nico was at the Top 3, he was struggling trying to defend himself. Yes, it's true that MS could have defend better. But apart from the driver, what about the car? Is it competitive enough compared to Ferrari and McLaren? (RB is of course out, since even McLaren and Ferrari has a big gap with them).

I just realized today that Merc strong advantage is their straight line top speed.

Correct me if I'm wrong regarding MS podium threat. Just my POV.

The decision making in the first 30 seconds of that video is awsome. A true meister at work. The rest of the field could learn a thing or two about proper overtaking watching Michael. Podiums or not, what a joy to watch and have in the sport. Guys nearly half his age, cant manage to overtake one another on the main straight without wrecking themselves out.

that was a sweet clip. yes a bit ragged appearing in some spots but he was really leaning on it!!! to my eye, he was just going full on hell for leather and really over driving the car!

Very much like KeKe in his later years. I remember him wringing the nuts out of his car in Detroit, much in the same way....!!!

Absolutely phenomenal drive from MS today. It was a joy seeing him rip through the field then pass Rosberg, considering that the man started dead last on one of F1's toughest tracks.
