Gorgeous car Nick. What else can you ask for? Nice color combo. May want to consider painting the targa to match the car. Just a thought. Enjoy the drive my friend.

Strange, when I click on that link it says I don't have permission to view it.

In any case, congratulations to the OP.

    Thanks, guys!

I currently have an '05 612 and a '98 F355 F1 Spider. My 612 is Rubino Micalizzato and I love it in this color. When I saw this F355 GTS advertised (I saw it first on Autotrader) I knew I had to have it, for this color on the F355 (which is still my favorite f-car) really, really intrigued me.

That said, I believe I'll part ways with my Giallo Modena F355 F1 Spider. I love the F1 action as long as I'm driving hard and non-stop. But, get stuck in stop-and-go traffic in these south-eastern Summer temps and it's nothing but trouble... has been since the second day I bought the car. I believe the F1 pump overheats which eventually causes the F1 error indicator to flash. Then, she drops to neutral and there's nothing you can do until it cools down. As long as I'm moving, this never happens, even if I'm moving no more than 15mph. It's as if the pump stays cool with some air flowing across it. Anyway, Fiorano Rosso is a manual :D Let's see how she behaves.

My Spider has Fabspeed headers, Fabspeed y-pipe, and Larini test pipes and exhaust. I've learned a lot with this setup. As result here's what I'm ordering this week for the GTS....

    Larini test pipes, again.

    These upgraded OEM headers:
    http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=343560&osCsid=mkepb49inuhpdbbkvcc8lmvd51

The reason I'm going with these rather than aftermarket headers is because of the shielding. The OEM headers are simply shielded better. I had my Fabspeeds coated twice. Once was coated from Fabspeed which began cracking off within two weeks. The second time they were coated with the white-lightening product by Swaintech which started cracking off after a year.

And this Capristo y-pipe eliminating, racing exhaust:

There are two types of Capristo y-pipe eliminating systems, I'm going with the racing style which basically becomes straight-pipe exhausting when the bypass valves open. I know there's some debate about Capristo and the loss of that "Ferrari scream", but I've found that this unit coupled with test pipes produces quite the pleasant, Ferrari scream that I'm certain we all expect.

Of course I'll need ECU work performed once more to eliminate the reading of the 2ndary o2 sensors. And that's it. I'll be done.

I'll post pics when/as work is performed.

Huh... never had that request before. I've always taken pics of the cars seperately for the most part.... occassionally with others seen in the background. Here's a link to the best pic I could find that shows more than two cars. I only have a two car garage, so the Aston, Maserati, and 750Li stay outside. The Aston and Maserati are covered, the 750Li my wife drives, I drive the CT200h as my daily commuter, and the M3 is at my dad's garage. The F355 and 612 are of course in the garage :D The Giallo Modena F355 will be replaced with this new Fiorano Rosso F355, so it'll move to my dad's garage, too, until I decide whether I'm keeping it or not.

If you'd like, I could post more pics of each of the cars in their own spotlight. Once again... occasionally a few of the others showing in the background. Better yet... have a Facebook or Google+ account? I could friend you there. Then you could see the photo albums of current cars and past cars. 58 cars in total (I'm still posting, but QUITE a few are published already).

    Yes it is! Thanks!

I see you have a 550 Maranello. I "almost" bought this 550M last weekend:

    http://inventory.foreigncarsitalia.com/foreigncarsitaliagreensborov2/details/1998-FERRARI-550-MARANELLO-550M/ZFFZR49A9W0112273/

The car was magical (as are all Ferraris somehow), but I decided "what am I... nuts?" I have a 6.0litre v12 612 and a 6.0litre v12 DB9. The next v12 will be the 599 GTB I want!

Nice collection Nick. Seems like you need a new garage. You heard me right, did not say a new house, but a new garage :)

You're right, and don't think I've not considered it :) There's some wide-open property for sale just outside my neighborhood that I thought of looking into just for building a "house" for the cars. Would be nothing to drive there and swap into something different. After thinking about it over and over I decided against it ONLY because in 6 years I'll be moving out of this state.

I'll be sure to have proper accommodations at that house :)

    See post #14, line 1.

    I didn't want to choose between a 550 and a 355 so I bought both. One can never have enough Ferrari's :)
